The teacher education curriculum is the main front for the development of teachers' professional quality and the core link that determines the quality of teacher education.In order to improve the quality of teachers' education and the professional level of teachers,and to train high-quality teachers who have taken up the important responsibility of education in the new century,all countries are in full swing to carry out teacher education curriculum reform.The School of Education,which is a teacher education program at Michigan State University,is one of the best educational colleges in the United States.Its five-year Teacher Preparation Programs are recognized for fostering innovative,high-quality teachers and teacher leaders.In the latest US News & World Website ranking,Michigan State University ranked first in the list of teacher education programs in secondary education in the United States for 25 consecutive years.Learn from each other or learn from the excellent experience has become a very efficient way to understand the trends,compare the similarities and differences,and promote their own development and progress.Michigan State University is a prominent public performance in the pre-service training of excellent teachers in elementary and secondary schools.It is an excellent case for our study and has important value of analysis and research.Based on the core role of teacher education curriculum in teacher professional development and the requirements of the era of building strong and excellent teacher education,combined with the prominent problems and contradictions in the current teacher education curriculum reform in China,this paper mainly adopts qualitative text analysis method and takes Michigan state university as the case to discuss.First of all,it is the concept and guarantee of leading the education project of secondary school teachers to excellence and several important standards to support its orderly development.Secondly,this paper studies the curriculum system objectives of secondary teacher education major,and divides them into Educational Objectivesand specific curriculum goal.Among them,the curriculum goal is mainly the role orientation and role core connotation analysis,and discusses the relationship between curriculum goal and teacher professional development.Thirdly,the curriculum system of the collation and classification analysis,In this paper,it is mainly divided into general courses,professional courses(including professional core courses and professional major courses)and teacher education courses(including education probation,practice,etc.).This paper deeply discusses the specific content of teacher education course and the practice of education in the fifth school year,and analyzes that the framework of teacher knowledge classification is one of the important theoretical bases for its setting.Fourthly,the evaluation research on the curriculum system of the secondary teacher education is divided into two parts: the certification of the teacher education,namely the Michigan teacher qualification certification and the internal evaluation of the secondary teacher education project.Fifth,it is a study on the guarantee and implementation of the professional curriculum system for secondary teachers.The research on guarantee is the teaching quality guarantee system guided by standard and the perfect institution and personnel guarantee system.The implementation of the study is mainly from the implementation of the participants and the implementation of the effect to analyze and summarize the main characteristics of the implementation.Finally,on the basis of analyzing and discussing the outstanding characteristics of the secondary teacher education curriculum system,it provides several experiences and enlightenments for the construction and optimization of the teacher education curriculum system in China and the cultivation of excellent teachers.
