A Study On The Role Of Ritual Education In Promoting College Students' Cultural Self-confidence

At the 2016 Congress to celebrate the 95 th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping said: "if you do not forget the original ideals and aspirations,and continue to move forward,we must adhere to the road self-confidence,theoretical self-confidence,institutional self-confidence,and cultural confidence of socialism with Chinese characteristics." This is the first time that "cultural confidence" has been included in the "four self-confidence",and that "cultural self-confidence" is a more basic,broader and deeper self-confidence.As a place to spread knowledge,colleges and universities should take on the mission of carrying forward Chinese culture,which is also a new requirement for colleges and universities in the new era.In the face of the new situation,the ideological and political work in colleges and universities should have a new understanding and development,further innovate the ways and means of ideological and political education,so that college students' cultural self-confidence really into the mind.Cultural confidence is not only a kind of cultural mentality,but also a kind of external visualization.It is formed in the experience precipitation of daily life,and is the living presentation of cultural belief and moral concept.Therefore,this study believes that practical ritual education can play an important role in the process of promoting college students' cultural confidence.First of all,it clarifies the related concepts and the relationship between ritual education and cultural self-confidence.Ritual education is a process in which the educate perceives the value concept and cultural belief in the infectious field under the care of a certain cultural concept.This paper holds that ritual education has innovated the cultivation way of college students' cultural self-confidence,satisfied the internal drive of the formation of college students' cultural mentality,promoted the concrete transformation of abstract cultural ideas,created the emotional field of self-confident mentality,so that cultural self-confidence can be demonstrated,expressed,seen and perceived,and finally the formation of college students' cultural self-confidence can be realized.Then,taking the Dragon Boat Festival ceremony as an example,this paper analyzes the role of ritual education in promoting college students' cultural confidence.The theme and element setting of the Dragon Boat Festival ceremony can intuitively show the cultural concept,meet the needs of the construction of college students' cultural belief,and imperceptibly convey the internal spirit of Chinese culture.The organization and propaganda of the Dragon Boat Festival ceremony can create a field of self-confidence mentality,so that college students can perceive culture,establish faith and enhance self-confidence in the ritual situation.Finally,it is put forward that the following problems should be paid attention to in optimizing ritual education in colleges and universities: first,we should pay attention to the principles of subjectivity,times,systematicness and so on;second,we should perfect the specific organization and development of ritual education,including the selection of the theme of ritual education,the layout of constituent elements and the organization and publicity of activities;third,we should pay attention to the individualized display of ritual education in colleges and universities to avoid the same formal presentation.
