Peer communication is an important way for children's social development,good peer relationship is helpful to children's social development,and bad peer relationship will affect children's personality formation and bring negative influence to children's physical and mental development.A group of children with low social status —— neglected children are not accepted or rejected by their peers,with less positive behavior and low frequency of negative behavior.They interact less with their peers and teachers,often showing passivity,avoidance strategies,negative emotions,quietness,timidity,and spend most of their time alone.If the neglected children do not actively guide,long-term in neglected state by peers,and the growth of their physical and mental health will be seriously affected.Picture book is a common carrier in kindergarten activities,it has rich social content and a variety of organizational forms,can effectively promote the social development of young children and improve the peer relationship of young children.Based on the peer interaction characteristics —— three neglected children,this study formulates and implements a plan of action based on picture book,which integrates games,experiences,discussions and other activities.The aim of this study is to improve the neglect of young children in peer communication,and to provide reference examples and feasible educational suggestions for parents and teachers.This study used the action research method,at the same time supplemented by the peer nomination method,interview,observation,literature and other methods to collect data.The F classes in A kindergarten in Huaibei were selected as the research field,and three neglected children were selected by peer nomination,observation and interview.Through observation,interview and other methods to diagnose the subjects,according to the diagnosis results to design a "self-confidence training " " emotional guidance" and "autonomous communication training" three integrated collective reading,games,performances,discussions and other activities as one action plan.To improve the identity of the subjects in the course of "planning,action,reflection,re-planning and re-action" the status of companion communication,through the data of three child peer nominations and the peer communication of the research object to analyze the research results,and put forward the corresponding educational suggestions based on the research process and research results.The study found that picture book theme activities based on the diagnosis of peercommunication problems of three neglected children improved the neglected children's situation in peer communication,improved their social status among peers,improved peer relationship and improved peer acceptance.It is concluded that it is feasible to use picture book to improve the peer communication of neglected children;to diagnose the reason why children are neglected by peers is the key to design picture book theme activities;and to use picture book to improve the peer communication status of neglected children should adopt thematic comprehensive activities.It is suggested that teachers should pay more attention to the role of picture books in improving peer communication of neglected children and improve the use of picture books Picture books improve the ability of neglected children to communicate with their peers.At the same time,it is suggested that parents should set an example and establish a good parent-child relationship;pay attention to the peer relationship of young children and provide communication opportunities;communicate with teachers and jointly develop the ability of peer communication of young children.
