Conflict is an inevitable and common phenomenon between children and their peers. The use of conflict resolution strategies directly affects the results of conflict.Positive conflict resolution strategies will help children gradually go self-centered and improve their point of view selection ability,so as to promote children’s social development and form good personality quality.Negative conflict resolution strategies will not only escalate the contradiction, but also bring some harm to the physical and mental development of both sides and affect the development of peer relationship. Therefore,it is very necessary to cultivate children’s peer conflict resolution strategies and help children solve conflicts independently. The purpose of this study is to carry out picture book teaching activities to cultivate children’s peer conflict resolution strategies on the basis of investigating the current situation of children’s conflict resolution strategies, and finally form a picture book teaching activity plan to cultivate children’s conflict resolution strategies through two rounds of action research process of plan implementation reflection improvement. This study takes two middle class children randomly selected by H kindergarten as the research object, and selects the experimental class as the main body of action research. The research is divided into action plan stage, implementation stage and result analysis stage. In the action plan stage, the researchers first understand the application of children’s peer conflict resolution strategies through the hypothetical story situation test of children’s peer conflict resolution strategies. On this basis, they further understand the development characteristics of children’s peer conflict resolution strategies through observation and interviews with teachers, and then select appropriate picture books and clarify the direction and focus of picture book teaching; In the implementation stage, the action plan is designed according to the common conflict situations of children in the experimental class, and the children’s solution strategies in the face of each type of conflict are targeted. The overall action process lasts for more than two months. After the preliminary activity plan is completed, the reflection and improvement are carried out according to the activity effect and teachers’ suggestions. At the same time, the self-made observation record form is used to record the conflict process in children’s daily activities, and the new activity plan is implemented after adjustment,Then form a complete action plan;In the result analysis stage, the researcher used the hypothetical story situation test of children’s peer conflict resolution strategies again to understand the application of children’s peer conflict resolution strategies. At the same time, combined with the researcher’s observation records and interviews with class teachers, the researcher comprehensively understood the educational effect of picture book teaching activities in this action. The results show that after the implementation of the picture book teaching program of cultivating children’s peer conflict resolution strategies for 10 weeks, there are significant differences in the difference between pre-test and post-test in the positive strategies, neutral strategies and negative strategies used by children in the experimental class in the face of common conflict situations.Through the further analysis of the data results,it is found that after the action, children use more positive strategies, while neutral strategies and negative strategies have decreased significantly. Therefore, the conclusion is that the picture book teaching activity plan designed in this study can effectively cultivate children’s conflict resolution strategies.
