With the rise of the trend of underage overseas Chinese teaching,more and more overseas schools are introducing Chinese as a second language into primary and secondary school classrooms,and many underage learners come to China for Chinese language learning.Therefore,there is a growing number of short-term summer camps for teenage learners.We combine the teaching practice of That's Mandarin Chinese School and the analysis of the teaching cases of summer camps for teenagers,and finds that the teaching time of summer camps for teenagers is shorter.the cultural background and age of the target group are more different,and there is a disconnect between the Chinese lessons and cultural lessons.Therefore,the teaching content of the summer camp is inconsistent with the learning needs.Combining the analysis of common Chinese teaching models and the above issues,this article will explore whether the Multiple Interactive Teaching Models can be effectively applied to the teaching of short-term youth summer camps in China.The Multiple Interactive Teaching Models focuses on the related interaction between teachers,learners,teaching environment and teaching resources,which is mainly characterized by the combination of explicit and implicit interactionThis article will be based on the teaching practice of the 2019 Summer Youth Camp at That's Mandarin Chinese School and will be guided by the Multiple Interactive Teaching Models,using interview analysis method and observation method for the feasibility analysis.In conjunction with the teaching design application of the Chinese lesson How's Life in China,the summer camp teaching summary and reflection through students' interviews and teachers,feedback.We hope to enrich the theoretical research on Multiple Interactive Teaching Models,increase the theoretical research on short-term Chinese summer camp.and improve the teaching effect of the short-term Chinese summer campThe article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introductory,which mainly introduces the reasons for the selection of the thesis and the significance of the research,analyzes the research status of the short-term summer camp program in recent years,and presents the content,objectives and methodology of the research The second chapter is the summer camp teaching analysis under the Multiple Interactive Teaching Modes,introduces the concept and theoretical basis of the Multiple Interactive Teaching Modes,discusses the characteristics of the short-term summer camp for teenagers,and analyzes the characteristics of Chinese teaching for teenagers in the Multiple Interactive Teaching Modes.The third chapter is the design and implementation of the camp's instruction.We analyze the teaching and design application of How's Life in China according to the Multiple Interactive Teaching Models,and analyzes the teaching effect by combining students'interviews and teachers" feedback of observation.The fourth chapter is the reflection and summary of Chinese teaching in summer camp.We analyze the application methods and teaching effects of the summer camp,summarize the positive meanings and problematic reflections of summer camp teaching and make some teaching suggestions based on the Multiple Interactive Teaching Models.The fifth chapter is the conclusion of this article.We demonstrate the feasibility that The Multiple Interactive Teaching Models could be applied to short-term youth chinese summer camp,and analyze the innovations,limitations and shortcomings of this study.
