As the popularity of the Internet continues to increase and some electronic smart devices continue to update,Internet games continue to infiltrate people's lives.College students who have just entered colleges and universities,their minds have not yet been determined,and all aspects of development have not yet matured.Universities are an important stage for them to develop their psychology and exercise their behavior,the starting point for entering the society in the future,Facing a rich variety of Internet games,if the school and parents do not guide the individual's life path,they are easy to fall into Internet games.Relevant literature show that companion group playing games is an important factor affecting college students' Internet game addiction.There are also inextricable links between different emotional experiences obtained in games and peer relationships and addictive behaviors.In order to verify the relationship between companion players and Internet game addiction,and the role of emotional experience in the two variables,this study uses the companion player relationship revision questionnaire,the companion player ratio questionnaire,the emotional experience scale and the Internet game addiction questionnaire to investigate 630 students from 2 college schools in Kaifeng and Xuchang.The study conducted statistical analysis of data through independent sample t-test,one-way analysis of variance,correlation analysis,and multiple regression analysis,and reached the following conclusions:(1)The Internet game addiction rate of college students is 5.2%,which is in the middle-lower level of the current state of Internet game addiction.(2)In terms of gender,grade,place of origin,major,daily game time,etc.,it is easier for Internet games to become addicted to men,fourth grade,city,art,and long game time every day.(3)The higher the companion player ratio/partner player relationship score,the greater the possibility of college students' Internet game addiction.(4)The more positive emotional experience a college student has,the higher the degree of addiction to Internet games;the less negative emotional experience,the lower the degree of addiction to Internet game.(5)The proportion of companion player/partner player relationship to college students' Internet game addiction will increase with the increase of positive emotional experience;The influence of the proportion of peer players on the degree of college students' Internet game addiction will decrease as the negative emotional experience increases.
