The negative effects of Online Game Addiction have important effects on college students' studies and campus lives so that the research for Online Game Addiction gets more attentions than ever.Online Game Experience is one of the most factors that individual players are addicted to online games.However,different from the previous studies on personality factors and environmental factors to discuss Online Game Addiction,it is a subjective perspective rather than an objective perspective to explore Online Game Addiction.This research is committed to explore the effects of Online Game Experience on Online Game Addiction and further probe the influence from Avatar Identification and Ego Identity.Based on the method of questionnaire,this study,collecting data by Online Game Experience Questionnaire,Avatar Identification Questionnaire,Adolescents Online Game Addiction Questionnaire and Ego-Identity Status Questionnaire recruited 389 college students with recently online game experience as objects.After running the data,the following are conclusions:1.The scores on Online Game Addiction among males are beyond females' scores.2.The students from rural area have high scores on Online Game Addiction.3.The students with longer online game spans on daily basis are more likely to be addicted.4.Online Game Experience among college students has predictive effects on Online Game Addiction,namely,the college students with high level Online Game Experience are more addicted to online game.5.Avatar Identification is a partial mediator between Online Game Experience and Online Game Addiction,that is Online Game Experience in college students has mediating effect on Online Game Addiction through Avatar Identification,or it effects directly on Online Game Addiction as well.6.The mediating effect is moderated by Ego Identity,in that it is stronger for students who have lower level Ego Identity than for those who have higher Ego Identity.
