Teacher assessment is an activity involving multiple departments and faculty and staff.The scientific and reasonable teacher evaluation system can improve the overall level of college education,increase the core competitiveness of the college,stimulate the enthusiasm of teachers,and improve the quality of teaching.Through the analysis of the status quo of teacher evaluation research at home and abroad and the survey of visiting teachers,this paper summarizes the problems existing in the current evaluation system of a higher vocational college.In this paper,literature research,case analysis,interview survey methods,and related theories are used to analyze the causes of the problems.At the end of the paper,the countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing the performance evaluation system of S higher vocational college are put forward.On the basis of paying attention to the principle of assessment,the assessment should reflect the people-oriented spirit and the author proposed several targeted suggestions:clarify that the assessment objectives are consistent with the strategic goals of the college;improve the assessment indicators;optimize the assessment organization,strengthen the assessment awareness;fully recognize the importance of assessment management.It enhances the social competitiveness of the school and improves the professional quality of the entire teaching team;strengthen the transparency and interaction of the assessment and allow teachers to participate in the assessment and implementation in order to enhance the subjective initiative of teachers;establish an assessment appeal procedure so that teachers can maintain their legitimate rights and interests.
