A Research On The Effect Of Marriage Payment On The Satisfaction Of Couple Relations Of Migrant Workers

Under the background of new urbanization and Orderly Urbanization of agricultural transfer population,married migrant workers have become an important part of migrant workers.Migrant workers are representative mobile groups in society,and their marriage problem is an important factor restricting their good life prospects.With the development of this group and the growth of their age,their marriage and family problems have gradually become an important issue that society attaches great importance to and urgently needs to solve.It is not only related to the happiness of peasant workers' families,but also to the harmonious development of the whole society.Marriage payment refers to various forms of investment in the process of marriage,accompanied by the whole process of marriage.Generally speaking,bride price and dowry are commonly used as an analytical framework in marriage payment.With the rapid development of modern economy,the overall marital payment has been soaring in recent years.Under such circumstances,high-priced premarital payment behavior has made a considerable number of rural families overwhelmed,and a large number of rural families have returned to poverty due to marriage and owed huge debts.This phenomenon has greatly affected the normal quality of life of migrant workers,and even restricted the construction and development of rural civilization,which requires the government and society to take positive and effective measures to control the series of social problems caused by high-price marriage payment and effective governance.Therefore,it is particularly important to have a clearer understanding of the marriage characteristics of migrant workers.However,whether the satisfaction degree of husband-wife relationship of migrant workers is related to high marital payment to some extent has been lack of attention and discussion.Firstly,this paper analyses the current situation of the satisfaction degree of the husband-wife relationship of migrant workers,and discusses the factors affecting the satisfaction degree of the husband-wife relationship of migrant workers.At the same time,this paper also puts forward some reasonable suggestions to control the high-price marriage payment behavior,in order to promote migrant workers to improve their marital relationship satisfaction,so as to effectively improve their marital relationship.At present,there are many studies on marital relationship satisfaction,but there are few studies on marital relationship satisfaction of migrant workers.The research of marital payment on the satisfaction of peasant workers' husband-wife relationship based on the perspective of both men and women is even less.Therefore,this paper uses the survey data of migrant workers in 2018,based on the perspective of marriage payment between men and women,from the perspectives of marriage payment(betrothal gift),marriage payment(dowry)and marriage payment(total cost of marriage),to explore the impact mechanism of marital satisfaction of migrant workers,which provides a new perspective for the study of marital satisfaction of migrant workers.New method.Firstly,this paper uses cross-tabulation to describe the current situation of peasant workers' marital relationship satisfaction.The research finds that there are significant differences between the marital payment of the male,the marital payment of the female,the marital payment of the female,the education level of the peasant workers,the frequency of interaction between husband and wife,the monthly wage income of the peasant workers and the satisfaction of the peasant workers' marital relationship,and the number of children of the peasant workers and the satisfaction of the peasant workers' marital relationship.The difference was not significant.At the same time,according to the type of data of peasant workers' marital relationship satisfaction,this paper uses order probit regression model to analyze the impact of male family marriage payment(lottery gift),female family marriage payment(dowry),marriage payment(total marriage cost)on peasant workers' marital relationship satisfaction.The research finds that:(1)Male family marriage payment(betrothal gifts)is not related to the satisfaction of peasant workers' husband-wife relationship.(2)The higher the marriage payment(dowry)is,the higher the marital relationship satisfaction of migrant workers is.(3)The higher the marital payment(total marital expenditure),the lower the satisfaction of the relationship between husband and wife of migrant workers.Finally,according to the results of empirical research,this paper puts forward relevant measures to control high-price marriage payment behavior and suggestions to improve the satisfaction of peasant workers' husband-wife relationship from the aspects of men's family marriage payment(betrothal gift),women's family marriage payment(dowry),marriage payment(total cost of marriage)and other control variables,in order to improve the satisfaction of peasant workers' husband-wife relationship.
