The decline of College Students' physical health has always been the focus of attention of the relevant departments of the Party and the state, and it is also a hot issue of academic research.By analyzing the space-time characteristics of the changes of College Students' strength quality in China over the past 30 years, this study aims to understand the differences, trends and problems of College Students' strength quality in different periods and regions,to find out the reasons for the decline of College Students' physical quality, especially strength quality, and to put forward pertinent countermeasures. The purpose of this study is to provide a theory for the improvement of the National Standard for Physical Health of College Students.According to this,it can provide reference for relevant departments to formulate intervention policies and put forward pertinent intervention strategies for college students in different regions. In this study, literature, data mining, comparative analysis, mathematical statistics and other research methods were used to study the data of standing long jump,pull-up(male),sit-up(female)and grip, which reflected the explosive strength, muscle endurance and absolute muscle strength of the Chinese students in the seven "Physical Fitness and Health Survey Report of Chinese Students" from 1985 to 2014,in order to present different periods and regions.Time and space characteristics of students' strength quality. The results showed that:1.From 1985 to 2014,the standing long jump performance of male college students, reflecting the explosive power of lower limbs, basically showed a trend of first increasing and then declining;female college students,in addition to the Northeast region, also basically showed a trend of first increasing and then declining.Compared with 1985,the standing long jump performance of college students in Northeast,North China,East China,Northwest,Southwest and Central South China increased by-9.08 cm,-3.58 cm,-5.23 cm,-2.75 cm,-1.34 cm,-4.48 cm in 2014,and that of college students(rural men)increased by-4.47 cm,5.74 cm,1.67 cm,2.54 cm,5.95 cm and 2.87 cm,respectively.College students in Northeast,North,East,Northwest,Southwest and Central South China(city girls)increased by-5.56 cm,-2.15 cm,-0.6 cm,0.44 cm,0.6 cm,-2.71 cm respectively;college students(village girls)increased by-5.35 cm,4.89 cm,1.57 cm,2.92 cm,1.35 cm and-5.98 cm,respectively.2.From 1985 to 2014,the results of pull-up,reflecting the muscle endurance of male college students, basically showed a trend of slow growth, then a sharp decline, then a slow decline or a slight increase. The results of sit-ups,reflecting the muscle endurance of female college students, also showed a trend of growth, then decline and then continue to rise.Compared with 1985,in 2014,the upward performance of college students in Northeast,North China,East China,Northwest,Southwest and Central South China increased by-2.18,-2.48,-4.35,-2.09,-2.96,-4.63,respectively;the number of college students(rural men)increased by-1.94,-2.49,-4.41,-1.07,-2.15 and-4.31,respectively.The sit-ups of college students in Northeast,North,East,Northwest,Southwest and Central-South China increased by 5.51,5.99,4.33,5.8,5.67 and 3.96 respectively;the sit-ups of college students(rural women)increased by 3.87,8,5.85,5.43,6.96 and 4.4 respectively.3.From 2000 to 2014,the absolute grip strength scores of male college students in Northeast,East and Southwest China basically showed an upward trend and then a downward trend, while those in North China,Northwest China and South-central China basically showed a steady upward trend. The grip performance of female college students in Northeast,East and Southwest China showed a trend of rising first and then declining, while that of female college students in North,Northwest and Central and South China showed a trend of rising steadily.Compared with 2000,the grip performance of college students in Northeast China,North China,East China,Northwest China,Southwest China and Central South China increased by 1.08 Kg,2.38 Kg,0.32 Kg,0.92 Kg,-0.43 Kg and 3.77 Kg respectively;the grip performance of college students(urban women)increased by-0.22 Kg,3.73 Kg,0.61 Kg,1.36 Kg,-0.8 Kg and 4.7 Kg respectively. In Northeast,North,East,Northwest,Southwest and Central-South China, the grip performance of college students(city girls)increased by 1.08 Kg,2.38 Kg,0.32 Kg,0.92 Kg,-0.43 Kg and 3.77 Kg respectively, while that of college students(village girls)increased by-0.22 Kg,3.73 Kg,0.61 Kg,1.36 Kg,-0.8 Kg and 4.7 Kg,respectively.4.The results of standing long jump reflecting the explosive force of lower limbs, regardless of urban and rural areas, men and women, basically showed four standing long jump achievements in 1985,1991,1995 and 2000: Central South > Northeast > East China > North China > Southwest > Northwest China, and gradually increased from west to East. The results of standing long jump in 2005 and 2014 are generally in line with the trend of gradual increase from west to east.Urban boys and rural boys in 2005,urban boys and urban girls in 2014 also show the characteristics of gradual increase from north to south. In addition, the results in Northeast China are generally low in 2014,and the results of rural boys and girls in North China are higher. The results of standing long jump in 2010 showed that the performance of northeast and southwest regions was significantly lower than that of other regions.5.Reflecting the results of pull-up(male)and sit-up(female)of muscle endurance,in 1985,1991,1995,2000,urban and rural girls, regardless of urban and rural areas,in 2005,the results of urban and rural girls in 2014 basically showed a trend of increasing from north to South and from west to east: central and southern areas > eastern areas > Southwest Areas > Northeast Areas > Northwest areas > Northern China. In 2005,2010 and 2014,the results of male students in urban and rural areas showed a gradual upward trend from east to west, with higher scores in Northeast China. In addition,in 2010,the performance of urban girls' sit-ups in East China > Northwest > Southwest > Northeast > Central South > North China, while the performance of rural girls' sit-ups showed a trend of increasing from west to East and from south to north.6.Reflecting the results of absolute grip strength, except for 2000 urban girls and 2000 and 2005 rural girls in 2000,2005,2010 and 2014,the results of grip strength of men and women in urban and rural areas are generally as follows: North China > East China > Northeast China > Northwest China > Central and South China > Southwest China, from South to North and from west. The trend of eastward gradual increase,in which the handgrip performance of male students in urban and rural areas of central and southern regions in 2014 is higher. In 2000,the handgrip performance of urban girls increased gradually from west to East and from north to south, with higher scores in Northeast China. In 2000 and 2005,the grip performance of rural girls increased gradually from east to west.Research conclusions:1.From 1985 to 2014,the dynamic change trend of long jump,pull-up(male),situps(female)and grip strength, which reflects the strength quality of College students, basically shows the trend of first increasing and then decreasing.2.From 1985 to 2014,the indicators reflecting the strength quality of college students are standing long jump,pull-up(male),sit-ups(female),grip strength. The regional characteristics are gradually rising from west to East and from north to south.3.The factors affecting the dynamic change of the spatial and temporal characteristics of College Students' strength quality may be related to the natural environment, the level of regional economic development, nutrition, physical activity and other factors.
