The concept of overall national security aims at the safety of the people;takes political security as the fundamental;takes economic security as the foundation;takes military,cultural and social security as the guarantee and takes promoting international security as the support to blaze a trail of national security with Chinese characteristics.There are 11 kinds of security including political security,homeland security,military security,economic security,cultural security and scientific and technological security and so on.The establishment of the overall national security concept is not only an urgent need to recognize the security situation and respond to security challenges successfully at home and abroad successfully,but also an inevitable requirement to implement Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.Based on this,it is very important to strengthen the education of junior middle school students' overall national security concept for students' key period of physical and mental development.Morality and Rule of Law at junior middle school is the main channel for junior high school students to receive the education of the overall national security concept.In order to guide junior middle school students to have a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding national security;improve the awareness of safeguarding national security,and consciously act to safeguard national security,the textbook Morality and Rule of Law for grade 8 added the content of establishing the concept of overall national security.This is the first time to introduce the overall national security concept of education in compulsory education stage.Through the education of the overall national security concept in Morality and Rule of Law at junior middle school,students will have a deep understanding and profound feeling of maintaining national security concept,and assume the responsibility to maintain national security.Based on the research on the current situation of the overall national security concepteducation in Morality and Rule of Law at junior middle school,and the author's educational practice experience,the paper is aimed at exploring effective strategies to strengthen the overall national security concept education in Morality and Rule of Law at junior middle school.In addition to the introduction,this paper is divided into three parts.The first part is the sketch of the overall national security concept education in Morality and Rule of Law at junior middle school,including the related concepts of the overall national security concept,the relationship between the lesson of Morality and Rule of Law and the education of the overall national security concept,and the significance of the overall national security concept education in Morality and Rule of Law at junior middle school.The second part is the investigation situation and analysis of the overall national security concept education in Morality and Rule of Law at junior middle school.Survey found that the overall national security concept education in Morality and Rule of Law at junior middle school has made great achievements.Specifically,Students have a certain sense of national security and ability;teachers have a certain awareness of the overall concept of national security education;teachers can adopt the corresponding teaching modes to carry out the overall national security concept education;teachers can promote the education of overall national security concept by resource development.In addition,there are some problems in the education.Some teachers have insufficient awareness of the overall national security concept education;it fails to fully explore the contents of the education of the overall national security concept and realize the continuity;the teaching mode is single and rigid;there exists insufficient and not ample teaching resources;the teaching evaluation is single and there is a phenomenon of valuing theory but looking down on practice.The third part,based on the analysis of the existing problems in the education of the overall national security concept in Morality and Rule of Law at junior middle school,we discuss the strategies of strengthening the education of the overall national security concept in Morality and Rule of Law at junior middle school.To be specific,improving the quality of teachers and strengthening the awareness and ability of the overall national securityconcept education;expanding the contents of the overall national security concept education appropriately and improving the educational effect;enriching the teaching mode and enhancing the appeal of overall national security education;taping various teaching resources and cultivating students' interests;establishing developing teaching evaluation system and improving education quality.
