Since the 20 th century,with the development of the times,society's demand for professional talents has become more and more intense.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,China has been making unremitting exploration on the road of education reform,especially by deepening the reform of the college entrance examination system to promote educational reform and adapting to the demand for talent training for economic and social development in the new era.In September 2014,the State Council issued "Implementation Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Examination and Enrollment System"(hereinafter referred to as "Implementation Opinions"),and officially launched a new round of college entrance examination reform.In 2017,Shandong Province entered the province of the New College Entrance Examination.In 2018,the General Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province issued the "Shandong Provincial Comprehensive Reform Pilot Program for Deepening the Entrance Examination of Higher Education Institutions." The original scores of the subjects are composed of the grades of the three subjects of the high school vocational level examination.The three subjects of the high school vocational level examination are independently selected by the candidates in the subjects such as ideology and politics,geography,history,biology,chemistry,and physics.The college entrance examination reform meets the demand for talents in the new era,and selecting subjects is an important measure to promote reform.How to choose the correct subjects is not only related to high school students' voluntary application,further education and future development,but also closely related to the future talent training in China.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the predicament of selecting subjects for the new college entrance examination and put forward effective suggestions based on this.First of all,through the relevant literature to understand the problems of the new college entrance examination elective system design and resource allocation.Collect and collate relevant literature research,combine the implementation of the new college entrance examination in the pilot area,and sort out and summarize the problems in the implementation of the new college entrance examination subjects from the above two levels: the system design,especially the scoring rules and the implementation reality are different,resulting in The problem of high school students 'selection game and fairness of examinations;the allocation of resources such as venues and teachers does not match the actual needs of high school students,squeezing the space of high school students' selection.Secondly,use the empirical investigation to explore the shortcomings of high school students themselves.By consulting relevant literature,expert interviews and field surveys,etc.,to gain an in-depth understanding of the problem,and based on this,prepare a questionnaire,starting from the dimensions of high school students' basic subject selection,subject selection ability,and influencing factors of subject selection.Sample survey was conducted for 2017 high school students in Shandong Province.The statistical questionnaire and analysis software SPSS22.0 was used to process and analyze the collected questionnaire data,and summarized the shortcomings of high school students in the selection of subjects in the background of the new college entrance examination,which is mainly reflected in the contradiction between the ideals and abilities of selecting subjects,including self Low level of cognition,insufficient knowledge of course selection and admissions information,difficult academic choices and conflicts of interest.Third,the corresponding solutions and suggestions are put forward for the above problems.Based on empirical research,combined with existing research,put forward the predicament of the new college entrance examination and analyze its causes,from the policy orientation and administrative advancement,college professional drive,high school autonomous change and high school students' self-growth.Optimize the path and strategy of high school students' selection,and put forward specific operational suggestions: relevant departments improve the level of professional study of college entrance examinations,increase resource protection and supervision;colleges and universities strengthen the sense of responsibility for admissions,and strengthen the professional The guiding role of selecting subjects;high school speeding up the course selection and constructing a guarantee mechanism for class selection;high school students strengthen their self-awareness and improve the level of admission information.
