Case Work On Practice Of Intervention Of Correction Of Aggressive Behavior Of Children With Intellectual Disabilities

Aggressive behavior is one of the most frequent adverse behaviors in children's behavior,and children with intellectual disabilities will become more prominent due to their own physiological reasons.Aggressive behavior of mentally retarded children is mainly manifested in two categories: language and physical attacks.Their aggressive behaviors not only greatly hinder the development of mentally retarded children,such as hindering the development of mentally and physically healthy children and the formation of good morals,affecting mental retardation.In addition to the relationship between children and their peers and the degree of social acceptance,in addition to the offensive behavior of children with intellectual disabilities,it will also threaten the personal safety of the people around them,so it is urgent to correct the aggressive behavior of children with intellectual disabilities.The author took a child with intellectual disabilities with aggressive behavior in the C community of Shenzhen as the client,and investigated and analyzed the client and the surrounding environment through participatory observation and unstructured interviews.The analysis found that the case subject to their own physiological defects,unhealthy family environment,peer group stimulation and the induction of violent circumstances in the social environment,these factors will more frequently attack others.To help the client correct the aggression,the author,with the support of the social learning theory,system theory,and cognitive theory system,comprehensively uses the methods and techniques of case work to gradually correct the client's aggression,and discusses the case work model in correcting the aggression of children with intellectual disabilities Feasibility and operability.Based on this research,it was found that after a series of social work services,the status of the clients improved significantly.Not only did the number of aggressive behaviors decrease significantly,but also established a friendly relationship with their peers,so it is very effective for social work to intervene in the aggressive behavior of children with intellectual disabilities.At the end of the article,the author puts forward suggestions and countermeasures to help mentally retarded children to correct their aggressivebehaviors from four aspects: children with intellectual disabilities,their families,social environment and social workers.It is hoped that through this case study,more people will pay attention to the behavior problems of mentally retarded children,and at the same time,it can provide social workers with reference to case intervention models in helping children with intellectual disabilities to correct their aggressive behaviors.
