Research On The Influence Of Work Passion On The Work Performance Of College Counselors

In the process of higher education modernization,teachers are engaged in the work of disseminating knowledge,ideas,truth and shaping the soul.However,teachers' work is not only a career for making a living,but also a lofty career.They have more important social responsibilities to bear.Once they devote themselves to education,they should shoulder the important responsibilities and missions of teaching,educating people and shaping the soul.The group of counselors who are active in the front of college education is an important force in the formation of college teachers,and also a part of social occupation.It is their duty to carry out ideological and political education and daily management for college students.Because of the particularity of work,counselors can be seen everywhere in the campus.They are placed in dealing with repetitive,mechanical and trivial affairs all day long.In addition,the professional characteristics of college counselors,such as being hands-on and on standby,make them in a tense working state for a long time.However,work is not the whole content of daily life.Working hours are boundless and under pressure for a long time,which inevitably breeds negative,burnout and even psychological problems.Work passion is also gradually consumed in the tedious and complicated affairs work,which will not only affect the work input,work state and work performance of college counselors,but also affect the ideology of colleges and universities The smooth realization of the educational goal of political education and the effective improvement of the quality of personnel training.Work is not only a necessity of daily life,but also shows its own value.The work passion can stimulate the College Counselors' confidence,recognition and innovation enthusiasm,and then produce the best work effect.While exploring the influence of work passion on the work performance of college counselors,this study also hopes to arouse more people's extensive attention to the group of college counselors,to listen to and understand the real feelings and situations of College Counselors in the process of Ideological and political education,and to improve the emphasis on the work passion of college counselors to a certain extent Help college counselors to overcome the negative effects of negative emotions such as job burnout,and promote college counselors to actively increase the input to students' work and improve work performance.Based on human's free and all-round development theory,ideological and political education environment theory,self-determination theory and Maslow's demand level theory,this study takes 411 college counselors of different levels as the research object,and comprehensively uses literature research,empirical research,interdisciplinary research and other methods to study the impact of work passion on the work performance of college counselors.The results show that most college counselors have higher harmonious work passion and work performance,and the score of harmonious work passion dimension is higher than that of forced work passion dimension;the harmonious work passion of college counselors has a positive correlation with work performance,and a positive correlation with strategy and task performance,interpersonal promotion performance,learning and innovation performance;regression analysis shows that Harmonious work passion and working years have a positive impact on strategy and task performance,and the impact of the first graduation school category on strategy and task performance is negative;harmonious work passion and marital status have a positive impact on interpersonal promotion performance;harmonious work passion and degree have a positive impact on learning and innovation performance.Combined with the above research results,this paper puts forward the coping strategies for college counselors to maintain passion and improve work performance from three aspects: college counselors themselves,college and society.College counselors should improve their comprehensive quality,and the coping strategies include strengthening their ideals and beliefs,highlighting their professional qualities,improving their professional identity,cultivating their professional emotions,establishing their sense of responsibility,cultivating their professional spirit,cultivating innovative thinking,and improving their professional confidence.The school should improve the relevant system,the response strategies include improving the salary and treatment,improving the assessment system,clarifying the boundaries of work,defining the core responsibilities,improving professional ability,and carrying out level by level training.The societyshould provide humanistic care,and the strategies include increasing publicity and social recognition;providing system guidance and supervising the implementation of policies;seeking family support and dispelling negative emotions.
