The research on critical thinking and its teaching started earlier in foreign countries,and the introduction of relevant research results into China was relatively late.With the continuous deepening of the reform of the Chinese course,the core literacy of Chinese has become the key word of the Chinese course,and improving the thinking quality of students has become the basic requirement of reading teaching.However,through literature review,questionnaire surveys and teaching case analysis,it is found that classrooms that cultivate students' critical thinking in reading teaching are rare.How to connect the curriculum concept with teaching practice to improve the critical thinking quality of students has become a problem faced by Chinese teaching.This article takes the teaching of Hometown as the research object,and analyzes the value of critical thinking cultivation from the perspective of Chinese teaching.Through the analysis of the questionnaire and the teaching cases of Hometown,it is found that there is a lack of critical thinking training in Hometown teaching.The teaching content is not deeply explored and the students' lack of awareness of problems and other issues.The reasons for these problems are:teachers are constrained by the traditional examination system and their own insufficient understanding of critical thinking,students' knowledge background is limited,and thinking has a deep influence.Based on the needs of attribution analysis and the cultivation of critical thinking,the improvement strategy of reading teaching in Hometown is put forward:changing the role of teachers and opening students' thinking;optimizing teaching methods,training and comparative reading;inspiring students to ask questions and awakening problem awareness Based on this,the teaching idea of Hometown based on the cultivation of critical thinking is put forward in order to provide a reference for reading teaching.
