Patriotism is the spiritual pillar of the Chinese nation for thousands of years.It mainly refers to individuals' sense of identity and mission towards the country,their identification with traditional Chinese culture and practice of socialist core values,as well as their respect and support for traditional cultures of all ethnic groups and cultures of all countries in the world.In teaching,high school history teachers should guide students' understanding of excellent traditional culture,establish national and cultural self-confidence,and enhance their sense of national identity.Based on the requirement of cultivating students' feelings for their country,this paper takes four high schools in xincai county,henan province as examples to discuss the problems existing in the cultivation of core qualities of "feelings for their country" in the current history teaching of high schools.These four schools have carried out a certain exploration in the aspect of "national feelings" and obtained a good response.However,there are still some problems which need to be further improved.This paper is mainly composed of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.In the introduction,it mainly summarizes the existing views of scholars and scientifically analyzes the core connotation of the national feelings.The first chapter analyzes the connotation of jianguo from the perspectives of Chinese traditional view of family and state,modern feelings of family and state and the core accomplishment of history.The second chapter mainly selects the teaching fragments more suitable for the cultivation of students' feelings for their country from the compulsory textbooks of the history people's education edition of senior high schools,anddiscusses the necessity of cultivating students' feelings for their country and the significance of their feelings for their country.The third chapter takes Xin Cai county as an example to find out the problems existing in the process of the implementation of homesickness by issuing questionnaires to students and interviewing local teachers,and analyzes the results.The fourth chapter is mainly based on the results of the analysis and combined with the local teaching resources to put forward practical teaching methods;The fifth chapter is the teaching case designed for better cultivating students' feelings of home and country.
