At present, the phenomenon of insufficient physical activity in countries around the world is quite common.About 80%of the young people in the world have not reached the recommended daily physical activity.Insufficient physical activity can directly or indirectly lead to a high incidence of chronic non-communicable diseases.According to a 2016 report by the World Health Organization, lack of physical activity is one of the top ten risk factors for death worldwide.Adequate and regular physical activity is an important means to promote the physical and mental health of college students.Therefore,in-depth research on it will not only help to enhance the physical activity and physical and mental health of college students, but also have important significance for the sustainable development of the entire society.Physical activity is closely related to the external physical environment and internal psychological factors in which it is located. Therefore, this study intends to examine its impact on college students' physical activities from the external factors of built environment, endogenous exercise intention, psychological resilience and other psychological factors. This study used The Physical Activity Scale-3,Neighborhood Environment Walkability Scale-Abbreviated,Exercise Intention Scale, and The Resilience Scale for Chinese Adolescent to investigate 1900 college students to investigate the current status of college students' physical activity, the impact of the built environment on physical activity, and mediating effects of exercise intention and moderating effects of mental resilience,so as to provide scientific basis and theoretical guidance for the promotion of physical activity of college students in China. The study found:(1)The overall physical activity of college students is at a low level, and there is a significant difference in gender. The physical activity score of male college students is significantly higher than that of female college students. In addition, there is also a gender difference in the intention to exercise, boys are higher than girls.(2)The built environment, exercise intention, mental resilience and physical activity level are significantly positively correlated, and all dimensions of the built environment, exercise intention, and mental resilience can significantly predict the physical activity of college students.(3)Exercise intention plays an intermediary role between various dimensions of the built environment and physical activity.Specifically, exercise intention plays a part of the mediating role between the accessibility of land use in the built environment, the connectivity of roads, the dimensions of pedestrian facilities and public security, and physical activity, and in the dimensions of street landscapes and traffic safety and physical activity.Play a full intermediary role.(4)Mental resilience plays a regulating role in the second half of the mediating effect, that is,exercise intention and physical activity.Mental resilience can positively regulate the relationship between exercise intention and physical activity, that is,by improving college students' mental resilience can effectively enhance the impact of exercise intention on physical activity. In summary, the built environment can affect the physical activity of college students, the intention to exercise plays an intermediary role between the built environment and physical activity of college students, and mental resilience plays a regulatory role between the intention to exercise and physical activity of college students.
