As an important Chinese teaching resource,Chinese reading plays an important role in students' learning.Chinese reading book is an extension of Chinese teaching materials,with a wide range of subjects and exquisite selection of articles.It is intended to improve students' reading literacy and Chinese learning ability.The nature of extracurricular self reading determines that it can cultivate students' initiative in learning,improve students'thinking ability,enrich students' knowledge reserve,expand students' reading vision,and improve students' Chinese literacy on this basis.Assisted reading system is an important part of Chinese reading books.By providing auxiliary materials to guide students to read more effectively and learn a wide range of knowledge,it is also helpful to improve students' independent learning ability and independent reading ability,cultivate students'reading interest and obtain a happy reading experience,so as to improve the learning effect quickly.Therefore,having a scientific and reasonable assisted reading system has also become one of the standards for measuring a set of excellent Chinese reading books.This paper starts from the assisted reading system of Chinese books,through the comparison of the two sets of Chinese reading aid systems in China and America,explores the similarities and differences between the two systems in the aspects of arrangement form,compilation concept,content composition,characteristics,etc.,while maintaining the characteristics of Chinese Reading preparation,and drawing on the experience of American Chinese reading preparation,in order to provide reference for the compilation of Chinese reading books in China.The two books used in the comparative study of this paper are:the New Chinese Reader(high school volume)(Guangxi Education Press)and the Eclectic Reader(4-6 volumes)(Beijing University of Technology Press).The introduction part of the paper briefly describes the origin of this paper,the research status at home and abroad,the purpose and significance of this paper,research ideas and methods,and innovation,and defines the core concepts of Chinese reading,assisted reading system,etc.The first chapter of the thesis introduces the arrangement of Chinese and American reading books.First of all,it introduces the arrangement content of the two sets of Chinese books in the overall design.The New Chinese Reader attaches great importance to literacy and the Eclectic Reader attaches great importance to moral education.Then it introduces the arrangement form of the two sets of Chinese books.The unit system design of the New Chinese reader takes into account the theme and style.The Eclectic Reader adopts the arrangement form of alternating arrangement of poetry and prose.The second chapter of the thesis is a comparative analysis of the compiling concepts of the two Chinese assisted reading systems in China and America.The compilation concept of the New Chinese reader' assisted reading system is to take the in-depth interpretation of the text as the core,reflect the humanistic concern and attach importance to literary appreciation.The compilation concept of the Eclectic Reader' assisted reading system is to take the cultivation of students' moral concepts as the core,reflect the national consciousness and attach importance to the integration with other disciplines.The third chapter of the paper divides the two sets of Chinese assisted reading systems into three categories:prompt,annotation and image,and makes specific explanations on their content composition,showing the two sets of rich and complete assisted reading systems.Through the analysis of the content composition of the two sets of Chinese assisted reading systems in China and the United States,some differences are found out.The fourth chapter summarizes the characteristics of two sets of Chinese assisted reading systems and makes a comparative analysis.In the assisted reading system of the New Chinese reader,the proportion of background information introduction is relatively small,and the key words are annotated in detail.The editor pays attention to inspire students' imagination and creativity,and construct multiple dialogues.The characteristics of the assisted reading system of the Eclectic Reader are the large proportion of background materials,the concise introduction of new words,close to the real life of students,and the encouragement of personalized thinking.The fifth chapter of the paper thinks that after a comparative analysis of the assisted reading systems of the two sets of Chinese books,we should think about how to improve Chinese reading books,and put forward suggestions for the compilation of Chinese assisted reading system.The first is to update the concept of Chinese reading,pay attention to attract students' interest in reading,strengthen the contact with students' real life and pay attention to multi-cultural;the second is to enrich the content of Chinese assisted reading system,appropriately supplement some background information related to text selection,design high-quality exercises,and select a variety of illustrations with strong relevance.
