At present,the new curriculum reform advocates diversified evaluation methods to promote development.Performance evaluation is a kind of germplasm evaluation,which refers to the process of direct evaluation of students' internal ability or tendency in the process of learning or life,including the evaluation of cognitive ability and non cognitive results.Performance evaluation has unique advantages in evaluating students' knowledge application ability,practical ability,high-level thinking ability,emotional attitude and values.In the 21st century,the core literacy has been put forward,and the core literacy of each discipline has been put forward successively.The core literacy of biology discipline is summarized as:life concept,scientific thinking,scientific exploration and social responsibility.How to design performance evaluation based on biological core literacy,how to implement it,whether performance evaluation can continue to play its advantages,and ultimately promote the development of students' biological core literacy are the main issues to be studied in this paper.Firstly,this study defines the concept of performance evaluation,introduces the history of performance evaluation,and explores the theoretical basis of performance evaluation.At the theoretical level,this study constructs a performance evaluation framework based on the core literacy of biology,and optimizes the design process of performance evaluation.Based on the designed framework,this study designed three performance evaluation programs and practiced them in senior high school biology class,carried out empirical research to verify the reliability of performance evaluation measurement results,in order to explore the application value of performance evaluation in the evaluation of core literacy.The empirical research of this study shows that it is feasible to design performance evaluation based on biological core literacy.Through the completion of performance tasks,students' interest in learning biology has been significantly improved.Performance evaluation can correctly feed back teaching information,promote teachers' teaching and students' learning,and ultimately improve students' core quality of biology,which is worth applying in high school biology teaching.However,in the process of using,we should consider the time-consuming and labor-consuming performance evaluation to avoid increasing the extra burden of teachers and students.
