With the deepening of the curriculum reform in middle school in China,in the teaching process of junior high school chemistry,the requirements for students' scientific inquiry ability are higher and higher,and the teaching reform is also moving towards the improvement of students' inquiry ability,and the key to all this depends on the classroom teaching effect of chemical experiment course.Therefore,how to improve the effect of chemical experiment class teaching in junior middle school,improve the students' ability of scientific inquiry,promote the students' physical and mental health and sustainable learning ability are the problems that need to be faced in the current chemical experiment class teaching in junior middle school,so it is the subject of this study.Based on the Japanese Compulsory Education Chemistry Curriculum Standard(experimental draft),this study points out that scientific inquiry is not only an important way of learning,but also an important part of the compulsory education chemistry curriculum.This is to take scientific inquiry as the breakthrough of curriculum reform.For the inquiry subject of chemistry,the cultivation of scientific inquiry ability is often inseparable from the implementation of inquiry chemical experiment.In addition,we should strengthen the relationship between junior high school chemical experiment and life,society,so that students can improve their understanding of chemical value and promote their all-round development.In this study,a middle school in Zibo,Shandong Province is taken as a case study of exploratory experiment.Firstly,the concept of chemistry course and scientific inquiry is defined based on the literature research method.At the same time,the relationship between chemistry course and scientific inquiry is clarified based on the relevant theoretical results.On the basis of chemistry course,the design of exploratory chemistry experiment course is carried out.Combined with the current teaching situation of chemical experiment course and conventional course in Zibo middle school,the survey data are summarized to provide guidance for improving the chemical teaching level of the school.Secondly,under the guidance of the teaching objectives of the chemistry course,the questionnaire was designed,and then two parallel classes were selected as the samples,and one of them was taken as the experimental class to compare and understand the students' and teachers' understanding of scientific research experiments,and through the interview method,the front-line teachers' understanding of scientific research experiments was collected,which improved the preciseness and feasibility of problem analysis.Finally,under the guidance of the existing junior middle school chemistry teaching objectives,drawing on the basic principles of the mature experimental curriculum design,the extension of textbook knowledge and the design of exploratory experiments are carried out.The arrangement of experiments is combined with textbook knowledge,which can play a good role in consolidating and extending students' mastery of chemical knowledge.In terms of experimental content,the experiment is carried out in combination with the process and steps of exploratory experiments.It is found that the exploration of combustion conditions and friction agent in toothpaste can be used as the teaching content,and realize the combination of problem exploration experiment verification.Based on the theory of inquiry teaching,the theory of scientific literacy and the theory of constructivism,the design of inquiry based chemistry experiment in junior high school realizes the combination of theory and practice.At the same time,it analyzes the results of experiment course and points out the significance of scientific inquiry experiment in junior high school.Through the investigation and interview of the local city and a middle school in Zibo,combined with the stereotyped observation and test of the experimental class,combined with the work sheet evaluation method and the U method,the result of 2.71 verifies the significance of the classroom practice of chemical experiment class based on scientific inquiry in junior high school,and proves the improvement of students' scientific inquiry ability.
