With the improvement of living standard, the overweight rate of female college students keeps rising due to the unhealthy lifestyle such as unbalanced diet and lack of exercise. At present, scholars at home and abroad have conducted a large number of studies on the effect of high-intensity intermittent exercise and moderate-intensity sustained aerobic exercise on fat reduction in women, and concluded that both of these two exercise methods can play a role in reducing fat,but in the same amount of exercise, whether high-intensity intermittent exercise has an advantage is still controversial.Based on the study of many scholars, this paper makes a more in-depth study on the effect of different exercise modes on fat reduction of overweight female college students,so as to provide guidance for female college students to reduce fat scientifically and effectively control their weight.Research purpose:to compare the effects of high-intensity intermittent exercise and moderate-intensity sustained aerobic exercise on weight,BMI,waist-to-hip ratio, body fat rate and other indicators of overweight/obese female college students under the same oxygen consumption, and to study the effect of the two exercise modes on fat reduction of overweight/obese female college students.Methods:60 24 or less overweight/obesity,overweight standard:(overweight criteria:24?BMI<27.9,including BMI of>27.9)or more female college students, aged between 22 to 26,were randomly divided into three groups,H,M group respectively for 12 weeks(3 days/week)of high intensity intermittent movement and strength in the continuous aerobic exercise intervention, control group according to the previous way of life not to exercise. The high-intensity intermittent exercise program was based on the training programs of Rognmo O et al.And Haifeng Zhang TKT et al.,and have some adjustment. The exercise form of group H is:85-95%maximum heart rate(HRpeak)exercise for 4 minutes on the playground followed by 50-60%maximum heart rate(HRpeak)exercise for 3 minutes, and the exercise time of each exercise training phase is 28 minutes. The maximum oxygen uptake of the subjects was indirectly calculated through the harvard step experiment and substituted into the formula:Time spent in MICT=(60%of mean VO2peak of all subjects)󫢫+(90%of mean VO2peak of all subjects)󫶘/Intensity of MICT(60%of mean VO2peak)calculating the time of MICT is 33 minutes. Both groups were warmed up with 50-60%HRpeak intensity for 10 minutes and cooled down for 5 minutes.During the intervention.Besides, participants maintained their usual diet and lifestyle.Research results:(1)After the intervention of 12-weeks high-intensity intermittent exercise and moderate-intensity sustained aerobic exercise, the body weight of overweight and obese female college students in group H and group M showed significant changes(P=0.000<0.001).The comparison of body weight between the two groups showed a significant relationship after intervention(P=0.013<0.05),and the weight loss effect of group H was better than that of group M.Compared with the control group, both the H group and the M group were superior to the control group in the reduction of fat after exercise intervention, and all had a very significant relationship(P=0.000<0.001).(2)After the intervention of 12-week high-intensity intermittent exercise and moderate-intensity sustained aerobic exercise, the BMI of overweight and obese female college students in group H and group M showed significant changes(P=0.000<0.001).The comparison of BMI between the two groups found no significant relationship after exercise intervention(P=0.274),but the effect of group H was better than that of group M.Compared with the control group, the BMI of the H group had a significant change after intervention(P=0.000<0.001),while that of the M group had no significant change(P=0.549).(3)After the intervention of 12-week high-intensity intermittent exercise and moderate-intensity sustained aerobic exercise, there was no significant change in waist-to-hip ratio of overweight and obese female college students in group H and group M.The comparison between the two groups found no significant difference after exercise intervention(P=0.089),but the effect of group H was better than that of group M.Compared with the control group, there was no significant relationship between waist-to-hip ratio in group H and group M.(4)After the intervention of 12-week high intensity intermittent exercise and moderate intensity sustained aerobic exercise intervention, the body fat rate of overweight and obese female college students in group H and group M showed significant changes(P=0.000<0.001).The comparison of the body fat between the two groups also showed significant changes(P=0.000<0.001),and the effect of group H was better than that of group M.Compared with the control group, both H group and M group were found to have a very significant relationship(P=0.000<0.001).Research conclusions:(1)The effect of high-intensity intermittent exercise with the same oxygen consumption in 12 weeks was significantly better than that of moderate intensity sustained aerobic exercise.(2)There was no significant change in waist-to-hip ratio between high-intensity intermittent exercise and moderate-intensity sustained aerobic exercise with the same oxygen consumption in 12 weeks and the control group.
