Group Work Intervention Study On Emotional Management Of Community Workers

Community workers are an important force in social governance,a direct provider of community services,and a link between the government and the masses.Faced with the requirements and challenges of social governance in the new era,all regions have strengthened the construction of community workers and improved the comprehensive capabilities of community workers.In the face of complex and cumbersome community work,community workers will inevitably have some emotional distress,which is also easily overlooked.Good emotional management can effectively promote the initiative of community workers and motivate them to participate in community work and social governance preferably.In this paper,community workers in D Street Empowerment Training Class in Huangpu District of Shanghai are the main research objects.Through investigation,they have some emotional distress;the factors affecting their emotional management are complex and diverse;community workers have emotional management needs.Therefore,the author through the intervention of the professional group work method,in the process evaluation and results evaluation in the group before and after the data and the changes in the team members found that the overall emotional management ability of community workers,such as emotional awareness and cognition,emotional expression,emotion regulation,emotion application,and the ability to cope with negative emotion and positive emotion has improved.Meanwhile,the emotional state of community workers has improved.Based on the process and results of the group work practice,the author has reflected and summarized the improvement of the emotional management ability of community workers.The author believes that the group work method involved in the emotional management of community workers is conducive to the formation of self-help mutual help team,with good feasibility and implementation results;at the same time we should build a comprehensive support system to enhance the emotional and material support of community workers;community workers need to strengthen self-adjustment,make full use of its own advantages,play the role of positive emotions,enhance the ability of emotional management,and actively respond to various emotional distresses.
