Education is always carried out around the life activities of "people".Educational is also the ultimate value of school education.Under the background of carrying out the fundamental task of "educating people with morality",it is more important to realize the comprehensive,whole-process,practical and innovative way of educating people.As a means of education,ritual is a process in which the school carries out knowledge education,emotion education and moral education to students in a planned and purposeful way by designing a series of programmed activities.It has a great educational function and value for enhancing individual cognition and emotion,enriching individual life experience,and developing the whole individual life.Looking at the present situation,While the value and function of school ritual are becoming increasingly prominent,there are still some phenomena that the educational function of school ritual is neglected and diluted.The formalization and patterning of some school rituals also lead to the lack of individual emotion and poor life experience of students.Based on this,The study analyzes the nature,educational function and process of school rituals,and selects a middle school as the research object to investigate the current status of school rituals.and make a deeply analysis of the problems and the reasons in the realization of the educational function of school ritual,and puts forward the optimization strategies to improve the process of school ritual and realize the educational function of school ritual.Firstly,To explore the essential connotation of school ceremony and understand the relationship between ceremony,education and individuals.School rituals are a special experience integrated into the educational field.Specific life,real situation and abundant experience all reflect the extremely important and irreplaceable educational function of the school ceremony.These educational functions include: Clarifying ideal goals;Improving cultural identity;Promoting collective cohesion;Enrich life experience;Acquire codes of conduct,etc.Secondly,Grasp the realization process of school ritual education function.Think about it from three aspects: basic principles,essential conditions and key stages of school ritual.The basic principles of school ritual include procedural,normative,repetitive,humanistic,etc.The essential conditions of school ritual include the main body,body presence,symbol,space and time field,etc.The key stages of school ritual include looking for focus,generating group identity,establishing emotional connection,internalizing values,etc.Thirdly,A depth study is made on the school ritual of S junior high school in Kaifeng City.By means of questionnaire,interview and observation,this paper investigates the educational status of school ritual,and finds that the current school ritual content is uniformed,the participant is passive,the implementation is superficial,and the ritual evaluation is one-sided.The main reasons are the lack of the concept of ritual education,the solidification of traditional mode of ritual,and the lack of integration and innovation of ritual resources.Finally,Put forward the strategy of optimizing the educational function of school.It mainly includes: reach a consensus of ritual education on the concept;highlight the characteristics of ritual education in the content;strengthen the main body of ritual education in the process;improve the means of ritual education on the system.
