Scratch has attracted a lot of attention since its launch.Due to its low starting point,high ceiling and wide barriers,students of all ages can enjoy their creativity and display their talents,which is loved by front-line teachers and students.With the national level vigorously promoting programming education for children,improving the computational thinking of primary and secondary school students will become an important part of the information technology curriculum reform.As an important part of computational thinking,algorithmic thinking has become a significant basis for social selection of talents.To cultivate citizens' algorithmic thinking helps to improve citizens' logical reasoning ability,abstract thinking and other information technology literacy,so that they can become qualified digital citizens in the 21st century.The traditional Scratch teaching emphasizes programming knowledge teaching.Students lack the process of actively trying to design works,lack of interest and is not conducive to the development of high-level ability of students.Through combing the existing relevant literature,combining the suggestions of experts,scholars and front-line teachers,constructs the scratch teaching mode based on design,and designs the course"monkey eats peach" according to this teaching mode.By practicing in the Scratch community,we can iteratively modify the Scratch teaching mode.Using a single set of back-and-forth test methods,by collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data of student questionnaires,task orders,interviews between teachers and students,task lists and so on,it is verified that design-based Scratch teaching can have a positive impact on students' algorithmic thinking and can promote Students' interest in Scratch programming.Combined with the research results,the main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)From the qualitative data of algorithmic thinking,Scratch based design teaching has an important positive impact on students' algorithmic thinking,and can effectively cultivate students' algorithmic thinking.(2)From the pre-and post-test data of interest in programming,the Scratch-based teaching has a significant impact on students' interest in learning Scratch programming.
