With the rapid development of information technology in the new era,the information society has put forward new requirements for primary school students to use the new thinking mode to learn knowledge,master knowledge and apply knowledge,so computational thinking has been paid more and more attention.Elementary student's computational thinking mainly rely on programming education to cultivate,currently in the primary stage,Scratch programming with its characteristics of interest and low difficulty got the favour of front-line teachers,but the combination of Scratch programming education and computational thinking training have series of problems such as material quality is low,cultivation standard is not clear and the teachers prefer technology to thinking.The problems existing in Scratch programming education oriented to the cultivation of computational thinking are urgently needed to be researched and explored.This research aims at cultivating the computational thinking of primary school students in Scratch programming education.The research work mainly includes the following three parts :(1)consult a large number of literatures,comb the domestic and foreign research status of computational thinking and Scratch programming education,and formulate research objectives and implementation plans.(2)Against Scratch programming teaching,conduct the fusion of computational thinking training teaching design research by Dewey's "learning by doing" theory,L.S.Vygotsky's the Zone of Proximal Development theory,constructivism theory and problem driven teaching method as the theoretical basis,the teaching target,teaching content,teaching strategies and teaching evaluation of the overall design was carried out.(3)take students in two classes of grade six from YingCai school as implement object,carry out a semester of teaching practice by teaching observation,questionnaire,test means which verified the teaching design and the teaching case used in the Scratch programming teaching can improve their computational thinking ability within the students in computational concept,practice and idea.In terms of theory,this study further enriched the research results of cultivating students' computational thinking in the information technology curriculum of primary schools in China,and provided references for other educators to carry out the research on cultivating students' computational thinking.In practice,the teaching design and teaching cases of this study can also provide references for frontline teachers to carry out Scratch programming teaching of computational thinking cultivation.
