| Since the implementation of "the new curriculum reform",the Chinese senior middle school geography curriculum and academic examinations have taken place great changes.The way of review senior middle school geography knowledge in China also gradually developed into "three rounds reviews" method.The 1st round review mainly helps students to focus on all the basic geography knowledge and abilities that the exam covers,establish an overall knowledge framework.In the 2nd round review,students studies different geography themes,which we call it theme-based learning,analyzing the inner link of all the knowledge.The 3rd round review aims to help students to get accustomed to the form of the college entrance examination by intensive simulation tests.Different schools may have different arrangements for the three rounds review of geography knowledge,but as a major form of the review method to consolidate students' basic knowledge and skills,the 1st round review of geography is always attached importance to itself.The trad,itional 1st round review of geography is usually according to the textbook chapter,with a teacher's speech,to review all the knowledge Obviously,it is inefficient.Based on the requirements of geography curriculum and exam syllabus,combined with the students' learning situation and needs,this paper determined the teaching objectives of the 1st round review,and selects four kinds of teaching methods suited for the 1st round review of geography,namely,expository method,learning project instruction method,mind mapping method and grouping learning method.Then this paper introduces the definitions,advantages,and using strategies of these four teaching methods.Finally,by using the teaching strategy in real senior middle school geography classes,proves it to be high-efficiency.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,is mainly to introduce the background and significance of the topic,the research objects and the research methods of this paper and so on.The second part is literature review and base theories,which mainly defines the 1st round review and introduces the current situation of relevant research at China and abroad as well as the base theories.The third part mainly expounds how to establish the teaching objective of the 1st round review of geography and select the suitable teaching methods for the reviewing classes.The fourth part puts forward a teaching strategy combining teaching methods and teaching content to use it to organize a different reviewing class.The fifth part verifies the effectiveness of the teaching strategy by analyzing the results of students' interviews and grades.The sixth part is the conclusion and prospect. |
