Teachers' disciplinary power is the power that teachers have to punish students who violate discipline.In the face of students' disciplinary violations from time to time,the essence of teachers and the mission of education require teachers to deal with students'disciplinary violations.However,in recent years,social incidents caused by educational punishment have increased year by year,and teachers' punishment right is facing the realistic problem of scientific orientation.However,the current law and academic circles do not have a clear definition and detailed implementation details of teachers' disciplinary rights,which makes it difficult for many teachers to reasonably and correctly understand teachers' disciplinary rights.Teachers' understanding of teachers' disciplinary rights,as the deep reason for teachers' disciplinary actions,affects the exertion of teachers' disciplinary rights.Therefore,this paper explores the current situation of junior high school teachers'understanding of teachers' disciplinary rights,understands the problems existing in junior high school teachers' understanding of teachers' disciplinary rights,and proposes strategies to promote junior high school teachers' correct and reasonable understanding of teachers'disciplinary rights based on literature and relevant regulations,so as to promote teachers'correct understanding of teachers' disciplinary rights and reasonable exercise of disciplinary rights.This research uses questionnaires and interviews to carry out research.The research starts from two aspects and six dimensions(the understanding of the content of teachers'disciplinary power,the understanding of teachers' disciplinary authority,the understanding of the purpose of teachers' disciplinary power,the understanding of the subject of teachers'disciplinary power,the understanding of the basis on which teachers' disciplinary power is exercised and the understanding of the support needed for teachers' disciplinary power)in order to have a more comprehensive understanding of the current situation of junior high school teachers' understanding of teachers' disciplinary power.Secondly,this paper uses SPSS 24.0 statistical analysis software to conduct descriptive analysis and difference test on the survey data,so as to obtain the current situation of junior high school teachers'understanding of teachers' disciplinary rights.Through this investigation,this paper holds that junior high school teachers'understanding of teachers' disciplinary rights is as follows:1.As for the content of teachers'disciplinary rights,junior high school teachers' understanding of deprivation rights,isolation rights and disciplinary rights is relatively vague,and some teachers think corporal punishment,suspension of classes or withdrawal rights are also reasonable contents of teachers' disciplinary rights.2.In terms of the limits of teachers' disciplinary power,junior high school teachers have a vague understanding of the limits of labor or sports disciplinary power,isolation power and detention power,and believe that they only have the criticism power of "giving oral warnings to students in class openly".3.For the purpose of teachers'disciplinary power,junior high school teachers can stick to the essence of educating people and maintain school rules and discipline.4.On the subject of teacher's disciplinary power,junior high school teachers all think that the head teacher should be the first power subject of teacher's disciplinary power,while in practice,junior high school teachers think that they have undertaken most disciplinary tasks as ordinary teachers.And think that the power and responsibility of the main body of the school leadership's educational punishment power is weakened.5.On the basis of exercising teachers' disciplinary power,most junior high school teachers think that they should exercise the disciplinary power according to relevant laws and regulations,especially the school discipline and rules.In practice,teachers also do the same,but they will flexibly handle students who violate discipline according to past experience and specific situations.6.On the understanding of the supporting power of teachers' disciplinary power,junior high school teachers believe that junior high school teachers think that policies,leadership and parents' support are most needed to protect teachers' disciplinary power,and that parents' understanding and support and the introduction of relevant policies are crucial to teachers' reasonable exercise of disciplinary power.Based on the research conclusions and the problems found,this paper propose following suggestions to promote junior high school teachers to correctly and reasonably understand teachers' disciplinary rights:1.Strengthen policy formulation and guidance to provide teachers with a legal source of disciplinary rights knowledge;2.Optimize school management and education,and provide teachers with learning ways to recognize disciplinary rights;3.Seek support for the consistency of teachers' disciplinary rights through home-school cooperation and communication;4.Based on the characteristics of junior high school students,reasonably grasp the limits of teachers' disciplinary power;5.Revise and update teachers' knowledge in time through teachers' autonomous learning and reflection.
