Educational discipline is an indispensable key link in educational practice.Correct understanding and rational use of the power of educational discipline is not only the need to maintain good teaching,but also the requirement to promote the physical and mental health of students.Based on this,this research conducted an empirical investigation and analysis of the punishment status of junior high school teachers in Changsha City,Hunan Province in their teaching practice.The research mainly used questionnaire survey method,supplemented by interview method.Teachers from 6 junior high schools in Changsha were selected as survey subjects,and a total of 350 questionnaires were distributed.In addition,interviews were conducted with 1 manager,3 teachers,and 5 students of N Middle School in Changsha.The study found that the current status of the exercise of the right of education and discipline of junior high school teachers is as follows:1.The reasons for discipline are mostly fighting and fighting,disrupting normal classroom order,and insulting teachers and classmates.2.The purpose of punishment is to cultivate students' good personal qualities and maintain normal teaching order.3.Basis for punishment Most teachers are based on the relevant laws of the country and various rules and regulations of the school.4.In the way of punishment,most teachers tend to criticize education,recitation,and labor education.5.The disciplinary effects are mostly short-term effects,but there will be repetitions and long-term effects.6.There are obvious differences in the disciplinary actions taken by teachers with different background factors.Based on the stakeholder theory,this article attempts to analyze the influencing factors of the current situation and finds that its main stakeholders are teachers,schools,students,and parents.These stakeholders are important factors that affect teachers'use of educational discipline.In order to ensure the reasonable and legal exercise of teachers' right of education and discipline,this research believes that reasonable school-level class rules can be formulated at the school level,teachers should be scientifically evaluated,and school-family cooperation should be steadily promoted;at the teacher level,teachers'own quality should be comprehensively improved,and various types should be used flexibly Education methods enable teachers to actively master educational punishment skills;strengthen public opinion and publicity on the proper exercise of disciplinary powers from the social level,establish and improve third-party consultation and dispute mediation mechanisms:clarify legal provisions on teachers'disciplinary powers from the legal level,and formulate specific imp ementation rules for teachers' disciplinary powers,Improve the relief system of teachers' disciplinary power and other aspects to further improve.It is expected that all relevant stakeholders can reach an educational consensus,strengthen communication and gather multi-party efforts,build a good home-school relationship,establish and improve relevant laws and regulations,and effectively guarantee the normal exercise of teachers' education and discipline rights.
