Abstract/Summary:
Primary school education is the formal starting point for students to enter the learning stage and they need to accept high-quality teaching.Education authorities have issued a series of guidance documents related to teacher performance appraisal to protect the legitimate rights and interests of teachers and staff.The score of performance appraisal is the basis for the distribution of performance salary.The school has constantly improved and reformed the performance appraisal system and established a sound performance audit system.Through the indicators of teachers' ethics,teaching ability,management ability,and innovation ability,the educational work of primary school teachers is examined,so that teachers with different contributions can enjoy different treatment and receive spiritual and material rewards,so as to improve teachers'satisfaction and improve the quality of primary school education.This paper takes the performance appraisal management of primary school teachers in Beijing as the theme,and finds some successful experiences that can be used for reference by studying the advanced performance appraisal criteria and theories at home and abroad.Yonghua experimental school carried out the performance appraisal of primary school teachers according to the guiding opinions of daxing district on the implementation of merit pay in compulsory education schools.Several problems were found in the practical operation.Second,the evaluation index is not set reasonably and the content of the evaluation is not comprehensive;Thirdly,the feedback communication is insufficient after the assessment results are obtained.Fourth,the establishment of the assessment system is lack of democratization.Through in-depth analysis,the author puts forward countermeasures and Suggestions according to practical problems:first,establish a fair,reasonable and effective performance appraisal system;Then we need to improve the relevant monitoring mechanism to reduce human interference and strengthen the teachers' confidence in the assessment results.Perfecting evaluation indexes at the same time,scientific set of assessment index weight,and then based on the evaluation of examination scores level of teaching jobs,assess the teachers' basic performance salary,pull the income gap between teachers,let the teachers feel the real role of performance appraisal management,also is helpful for the improvement of teachers' education teaching level.The long-term development of primary school education requires school administrators to establish the correct management concept of primary school teacher performance appraisal,establish accurate management objectives of teacher performance appraisal,establish a scientific and reasonable teacher performance appraisal system,and use reasonable assessment methods to timely feedback the evaluation results of teacher performance appraisal.We should give full play to the role of teacher performance appraisal management,improve teachers' individual education level and the overall teaching quality of the school,and lay a solid foundation for the improvement of the overall quality of the nation.
