Purposes:The aim of this study was to identify the difference between static balance ability and gait characteristics in case of unilateral hip joint flexion and extension muscle fatigue under two different states,eupnea and pranayama.Pranayama intervention was used before unilateral hip joint flexion and extension and static balance ability and gait characteristics of human subjects was tested,in order to explore the effects of unilateral hip muscle pre-fatigue pranayama on post-fatigue postural control,with an aim to providing a theoretical and experimental evidence for hip joint damage and rehabilitation training.Methods:20 healthy young men were selected as subjects in this study,following two experiments,the test interval was about 3-5 days.Muscle fatigue was induced by unilateral hip joint flexion and extension,and static balance ability and gait characteristics of human subjects in states of eupnea and pranayama was tested respectively.Pranayama was conducted for 15 minutes,the same as period of eupnea,used as a comparison group.Two experiments were chosen randomly to minimize errors.Zebris FDM series gait analysis platform and MyoMotion three-dimensional motion acquisition and analysis system were used to collect datas about pre-pranayama(pre-euphrates)on post-fatigue postal control,CON-TREX joint isokinetic strength test and training system and Cometa wireless surface electromyography system were used to collect quantitative control of fatigue and the characteristic of muscle activity.For the primary outcome,paired-t-test was used to determine the difference of gesture characteristics pre-eupnea and after fatigue,one-way ANOVA was used to determine the difference between two groups.Results:(1)Under the influence of unilateral hip joint muscle fatigue gesture control after eupnea,X and Y axis bias of characteristics of static balance capability changed in an opposite direction,and was statistically significant before and after fatigue(P<0.05).In terms of plantar pressure,stress ratio changes in left anterior plantar,left plantar,right heel,right plantar were statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of lower extremity muscle activities,left hip joint external rotation,left foot plantar flexion,left foot rotation,angular range of motion of left thigh,left calf,feet muscle and similar joint muscle on the right side were statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of plantar pressure characteristics,spatial and phase features related to gait,the distance between the center of plantar pressure,right foot declination,right supported phase,the left and right side supported initial phase,left intermediate support phase,the left and right supporting anaphase,right-side oscillating phase,double support phase,were statistically significant before and after fatigue(P<0.05).(2)Two tests about maximum equal strength during eupnea and pranayama showed,the difference of iEMG of LH,MH were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the bigger of iEMG,the more muscle discharged.Hip joint muscle fatigue in states of eupnea and pranayama was induced respectively,the difference between iEMG standardized value,hip joint peak moment value,and the number of flexion and extension of the hip joint when fatigue was reached had significant difference between groups(P<0.05).(3)The difference in gesture control abilities affected by muscle fatigue during eupnea and pranayama,X and Y axis bias of static balance capability characteristics changed in an opposite direction,and was statistically significant before and after fatigue(P<0.05).In terms of plantar pressure,the ratio of left anterior pressure was statistically significant(P<0.05),the changes were similar to static balance characteristics without fatigue.Analysis of spatial and time features related to gait showed,right foot declination,right supported phase,left intermediate support phase,right-side oscillating phase,were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)Unilateral hip muscle fatigue,which changed the static balance function and gait characteristics of subjects,affected gesture control ability of body.(2)After pranayama,the athletic performance of hip joint muscle increased.(3)Pranayama alleviated the influence of gesture control ability due to hip muscle fatigue.
