As an important manifestation of Dragon Culture,the Dragon Dance Movement and the school,as an important base for the spread of culture,should give full play to its media role,effectively popularize and carry forward the traditional national sports culture,strengthen students' physique and build the "soul" of the nation,the "special" of building a campus.In order to grasp the development of dragon dance in the "National Demonstration School of Dragon and Lion Dance in primary and secondary schools" in Hunan Province,to promote the construction of characteristic campus culture in primary and secondary schools,to improve students' dragon dance skills,and to protect and pass on the excellent traditional culture.This paper uses the methods of Literature Review,Questionnaire Survey,expert interview,Case Analysis,mathematical statistics,logical analysis,etc.,this paper makes an investigation and analysis on the current situation,problems and causes of dragon dance teaching,extra-curricular activities,training,competition and condition construction of the "national primary and middle school dragon and Lion Dance Education demonstration school" in Hunan Province.The results showed:(1)only a few schools included dragon dance as a compulsory or optional subject in the curriculum of physical education and Health and sports characteristics.The teaching objectives of dragon dance were set in a comprehensive manner,but there was a lack of a unified programme and teaching materials for Dragon Dance,dragon dance courses are offered at different times and in different periods of time.The teaching of Dragon dance is flexible in form and rich in teaching methods,but it is not taken into account in the examination of physical education and health courses,the overall development is better.The selection of students by coaches is scientific,and students' participation in dragon dance is mainly based on interest and exercise,but the proportion of male and female students participating in training is not balanced,and the contradiction between learning and training is prominent;(2)the overall competition situation is better,each school every year focuses on taking part in one or two domestic dragon dance competitions,and all of them can achieve excellent results;the overall construction of the teaching staff of the "Model School" is not balanced,with the middle and young teachers with middle-level professional titles being the main ones,and the specialty of Dragon Dance Teachers being few,no coach Card and referees card accounted for a higher percentage of dragon dance venues and equipment can basically meet the daily teaching and training,but the speed of renewal can not keep up with the speed of damage,which reflects the insufficient funds;(3)the "National Dragon and Lion Demonstration School" in Hunan Province hasachieved remarkable results in the Dragon Dance Movement at Mingde Dongjing Middle School in Changsha.The school has established itself with the characteristics of Dragon Culture and is based on the school's reality,in the Campus Dragon Culture,Dragon Dance Teaching,dragon extracurricular activities,dragon dance training,teachers and venue equipment for other "model school" learning model to provide experience.(4)the main problems are: the unbalanced development of the overall quality of the Dragon Dance Teachers;the lack of the fixed and unified syllabus for dragon dance;the uncoordinated popularization and improvement of dragon dance;the Outstanding Contradiction Between Dragon Dance Training and cultural learning;The Dragon Dance Movement funds shortage and the field equipment lag and so on.(5)in order to enhance the effectiveness of the "National Demonstration School of Dragon and Lion Dance Education in primary and secondary schools" in Hunan Province,it is proposed to strengthen the construction of the teaching staff and raise the professional level of "teaching,training and management",compile Professional Dragon Dance Syllabus and teaching materials suitable for middle school students,popularize dragon dance widely,carry forward the advantage of resources,establish management evaluation system,promote the balanced development of learning and training,increase the investment of special funds,and manage the innovative venue and equipment,perfect the Dragon Dance Competition System,implement the athlete rank system and so on.
