Based on STEM education background and deepening the reform of new curriculum,this study tries to "STEM education" and "biological activity curriculum" for contact,effort designed to STEM the education idea as the guidance of junior high school biological activity curriculum,and through the implementation of the curriculum,improve the junior middle school students' practice,innovation,sharing and exchange STEM spirit,so as to promote a new era under the background of the formation of STEM talents.The author used the literature analysis method to comb the existing research results related to STEM education,and analyzed the correlation between STEM education and activity curriculum,seeking the relevance between the two,and establishing the theme of this study.In the preliminary survey,relevant data of students' attitudes,needs and current STEM literacy level of students were collected through questionnaire survey,and the data results were analyzed to provide reference basis for the following course design.At the level of curriculum design,with Taylor's principle as the important guiding ideology,the determination of curriculum objectives,the selection and organization of curriculum contents,the design of activities and the design of curriculum evaluation were carried out to establish a sound curriculum system and finally present the "healthy life" junior middle school biological activity curriculum under the STEM education concept.In the course implementation,the author selects part of the course content,organizes and carries out teaching activities in the experimental class,selects representative cases,and presents and analyzes the teaching process.After the end of the teaching activities,relevant information of students' feedback was collected and presented,and the post-test results of students were analyzed.Finally,it was concluded that students' STEM literacy level had been improved.The evaluation results show that students have improved their STEM literacy level through the study of biological STEM activity courses.Students' ability of practice and innovation has been enhanced,and their awareness of sharing and communication has also been improved.The students' scientific knowledge has been strengthened and they have formed the habit of interdisciplinary knowledge integration,learned certain technical methods,had certain engineering consciousness and gradually formed the engineering thinking.In team work,students' ability to cooperate,explore and solve problems is improved.At the same time,students' interest in biology has increased.The design and implementation of this curriculum can enhance teachers' attention to STEM education and update their educational concepts.
