Distribution on demand is an important manifestation of children's fair distribution, and it is of great significance to children's fair perception and social development. In order to discuss the development of on-demand distribution behaviors of children aged 4 to 6 years in different social comparison directions in the face of different social relationships, this study uses a simple random sampling method to select 153 children aged 4 to 6 from three kindergartens as the research object.By creating different types of social relationships and social comparisons in different directions,we have examined the on-demand distribution behavior of children aged 4 to 6 in the case of interest involvement and non-involvement.In the context of interest involvement, the first experiment assigns objects to different social relations under different social comparison directions and explores the impact of social comparison on the on-demand distribution behavior of children aged 4 to 6 years, according to distribution outcomes. However, the second experiment,in which the context is based on non-interest involvement, assigns objects to different social relations in different social comparison directions, and explores the impact of social comparison on the on-demand distribution behavior of children aged from 4 to 6 years according to the distribution outcomes. The research indicates as following:(1)Different interest involvement cases and social comparison directions can influence the on-demand distribution behaviors of children aged 4 to 6: in the case of interest involvement, when these children are compared with those who are more capable or with more resources, thedifferences of the distribution outcomes are significant, and their distribution behaviors are more self-interested;in the case of non-interest involvement, the differences of the distribution outcomes are significant as well, and their distribution behaviors are more beneficial to those who are less capable and with less resources than them.(2)The impact of social comparison directions on the on-demand distribution behavior of children aged 4 to 6 varies according to ages: the on-demand behavior of six-year-old children is more apparent than those aged 4 to 5.(3)The on-demand behavior of children aged 4 to 6 is not influenced by the type of social relations:they are more inclined to consider the number of resources and demand of them and others.(4)The distribution quantity and method of children aged 4 to 6 are generally the same, but in terms of distribution explanation, the explanation of 6-year-old children is more similar to that of 5-year-old children than 4-year-old children, and the explanation of children aged 5to 6 is more rational.(5)The social comparison ability and demand consciousness vary significantly according to different ages: children aged 5 to 6 years have better social comparison abilities and more accurate on-demand behaviors;but there is no gender difference.Based on the results of the above research, this study proposes the following educational suggestions:(1)Reasonably guide the behavior of on-demand distribution in the fair distribution of children aged 4 to 6years;(2)Reduce the negative impact of fair distribution preference on the on-demand distribution of children by using multiple approaches;(3)Give full play to the role of social-comparison in regulating the on-demand distribution of children aged 4 to 6.
