The ability of teachers' educational technology is the necessary condition of teachers' professional development and the urgent need of new curriculum reform.In order to understand the current situation of the educational technology ability of junior middle school mathematics teachers,the researcher took mathematics teachers of junior middle school in a provincial capital city in the central region as the research object,and carried out an investigation and study,and discussed the following two questions:(1)what is the current situation of the educational technology ability of junior middle school mathematics teachers?(2)What are the factors that affect the educational technology ability of junior middle school mathematics teachers?The researcher conducted a questionnaire survey on 223 junior middle school mathematics teachers and analyzed the survey data with spss19.0.Four junior middle school mathematics teachers were interviewed in depth.It is found that:(1)most mathematics teachers have realized that the application of educational technology canimprove the teaching effect,but in the actual teaching,they still mainly use general technology and seldom use subject specific technology;(2)most mathematics teachers are willing to improve their own educational technology ability through learning,but it is difficult to achieve self-improvement due to the limited work task and energy;(3)Some teachers say that although the school has arranged some training in educational technology,the training is too theoretical,divorced from the teaching practice,not targeted,and not specific to the subject;(4)some teachers say that school leaders do not pay attention to it,or because more teachers have fewer training opportunities,there are few opportunities to participate in the training;(5)some teachers also say that the use of educational technology will occupy the preparation meeting A lot of time,the traditional way is more time-saving;(6)the low level of educational technology is also the reason why some teachers dare not or do not want to use educational technology in teaching.The research suggests that:(1)school-based,sound education and training system;(2)based on disciplines,strengthen the application of educational technology;(3)pay equal attention to learning and teaching,avoid simplyemphasizing technology;(4)reduce burden and increase efficiency,strengthen the demonstration and guidance of famous teachers;(5)lifelong learning,improve the ability of educational research.
