To adapt to the rapid development of the information age and cultivate innovative talents needed in a new era, robot education has received increasing attention from all walks of life,it has huge development potential and application prospects. At this stage, robot education has not yet been popularized, especially in economically underdeveloped areas, where information technology is relatively backward, the practice of robot courses offered by schools faces a series of problems such as insufficient teaching hours, difficulty in personalized teaching, and low classroom efficiency.Nowadays, with the continuous change and update of technology, micro lecture has the advantages of simple production, convenient use, clear themes, short and intensive, and repeatable viewing. This study proposes the use of micro lecture assisted teaching as a solution to the problems facing robot education.By adding micro lectures to the classroom in a suitable form to improve the quality of robot teaching, ensure the efficiency of teaching and achieve individualized learning for students,so that robot education is no longer trapped in the traditional form of education, and then promote the development of robot education. The article analyzes the current development of robot education at home and abroad and the application status of micro lectures by consulting data and literature, and then surveys and summarizes the practical problems existing in robot education in junior high school utilizing questionnaire surveys, after that the article proposes a solution to integrate micro lectures into the classroom and analyze its necessity. This article summarizes the overall process of design, development, application and feedback improvement of robotic micro lectures, and explores the design principles, development methods, application modes and evaluation strategies of teaching micro lectures. The article uses the Lego robot education series as hardware equipment and junior high school students as experiment objects. The contents of the robot introductory course are organized and designed, and a semester teaching plan suitable for robot education in junior high schools is formulated.According to the different needs of the classroom, the article integrates the important and difficult points in the teaching process into the teaching design in the form of micro learning, tests the actual effect through classroom teaching practice, and evaluates, analyzes, and improves the micro learning based on student feedback. The practice has proved that incorporating micro learning into the junior middle school robotic classroom can effectively solve problems such as limited class hours, difficulty in personalized teaching, and poor classroom efficiency caused by students' poor grasp of knowledge points.Bringing micro lectures into the classroom will help students develop the habit of independent learning and active exploration, stimulate their potential and cultivate their creative spirit. At the same time,it also provides a new idea for teachers' teaching, which effectively solves the problems such as the difficulty in demonstrating the robot construction process and the poor teaching effect caused by traditional large class teaching.Micro lectures help teachers save a lot of class time for more targeted tutoring.Because of the advantages of small volume and easy transmission, the popularity of micro lectures can make teachers' communication on robot teaching closer and deeper. It helps teachers broaden their horizons, and improve their professional capabilities. The rational application of micro lectures makes up for the lack of teaching resources in schools, promotes the development of robotic courses in underdeveloped information technology areas, and contributes to the online learning resource base of this emerging discipline.
