At junior high,the teaching of ancient poetry and prose accounts for a large proportion of the Chinese classroom teaching.For junior high students,appropriate leading-in of the ancient poetry class can lay the solid foundation for the ancient poetry and prose teaching,and create a good environment for the ancient poetry and prose classes which are interesting and meaningful.Teachers need to carefully design the leading-in of the classes,which should be the top priority when a class begins.The observation and analysis of the leading-in of ancient poetry and prose classes in specific schools can provide some enlightenment for some new Chinese teachers.First of all,the paper illustrates the general situation of the leading-in of the poetry and prose classes of the grades seven and eight at High School Affiliated to Southwest University,and shows the design of the questionnaire and the interview,including the characteristics of respondents,research target and research plan.The questionnaire for students is based on five dimensions: the teachers' performance during the leading-in,the students' performance during the leading-in,the students' attitude towards and understanding of the study and the leading-in,students' evaluation of themselves and the teachers during the leading-in,and the expectations of student for the teachers and the leading-in.And the interview mainly involves six aspects,including the basis,method and duration of the leading-in,and the understanding of teachers to the function of the leading-in,evaluation standard and suggestion of the leading-in.Besides,theunofficial classroom observation of the class leading-in is also the part of the research.Then,the paper analyzes the data,and with the help of graphs and text descriptions,the paper can demonstrate the current situation of the leading-in of the classes of grades seven and eight in the High School Affiliated to Southwest University.In the second place,the paper concludes the existing problem based on the data analysis and tries to find out the reasons.The problem lies in the two aspects: teachers and students.In terms of the teachers,the primary problem is the solidification of the leading-in method,which has four points.First,some teachers strives for reliability during the process of leading-in and some teachers are tired of designing the leading-in due to the dispute between the class leading-in and students' expectations.Also,teachers' class preparations have been influenced by some unnecessary tasks.Secondly,the duration of the class leading-in is inappropriate because of teachers' misunderstanding to the class leading-in,the lack of experience and uncertainty of the classroom teaching.Thirdly,some teachers are limited in the ways of lesson preparations.They fail to pay enough attention to their students and lack understanding of them.They also ignore their own impact on the class,committing the errors of empiricism.At last,the language style of the teachers shorts of artistry.And this is because some teachers are lack of studies on teaching language,relevant knowledge and practice of pronunciation.In terms of the students,there are three problems: relying too much on reference books,passively taking part in the leading-in,having difficulties in emotional resonance.First,under the influence of longstanding learning habits,the students prefer the preview that directly acquires the answer.Meanwhile,most of them have the problem of relying on the reference book under the influence of the puberty.Secondly,junior high students haven't fully understood the meaning of the class leading-in.And students are reluctant to take part in the leading-in due to the class atmosphere and uncertainty of the leading-in.Thirdly,studying ancient poetry and prose is difficult.As students have seen little of the world,it is hard for them to understand the ancient literati.And some teachers haven't paid enough attention to the students during the class leading-in,as a result,students feel difficult to resonate with ancient poetry and prose.Lastly,the purpose of the paper is to present strategies on how to solve the current problems of the leading-in of the classes of grades seven and eight in the High School Affiliated to Southwest University.In the first place,the paper proposes strategies for teachers and students,who are the direct participants of the class leading-in.Theteachers should constantly study and enrich the leading-in forms,arouse students 'interest of learning ancient poetry and prose as the way to overcome difficulties,pay attention to the systematization of the classes,and enhance the language artistry of the leading-in.And students should explore various ways of preview,properly understand the class leading-in,and establish their own relationship with the meaning of ancient poetry and prose to improve the condition.What's more,parents and schools should also take actions.Parents need to support their children in reading and help to develop good study habits.And schools need to pay close attention to the teachers at every age,create an atmosphere in favor of ancient poetry and prose learning for different types of students and ensure that teachers have enough time to design the leading-in of the classes.
