Inclusive education advocates education equity and equal opportunities.And it opposes discrimination,exclusion and inequality.In this context,it pays attention to the education needs of special children,encourages the priority of general education and promotes education modernization.Reading ability is a necessary skill for hearingimpaired children to live in social life,and it also a necessary guarantee for them to integrate into the mainstream society.However,the reality is that hearing-impaired children lack of interest in reading and do not develop good reading habits.School teachers' teaching methods of their reading ability lies in the mechanical infusion of Chinese teaching materials,and at the same time,there is a lack of appropriate compilation and publication of reading books for them to find and read in society.Based on this background,using appropriate picture books to carry out reading teaching has become a hot topic in Chinses classes at primary schools,and the advantages of picture books' own features such as the integration of pictures and texts,mutual understanding and mutual interpretation,which have a more significant effect on the improvement of hearing-impaired children's reading ability.Studying the application of picture books teaching in the improvement of hearing-impaired children's reading ability will improve the teaching quality of the deaf schools,especially the quality of Chinese teaching.This study uses four methods,which are literature research,quasi-experimental research,observation and interview methods to explore the value of picture books in the reading ability of hearing-impaired children,discuss the hearing-impaired children's changes among the specific teaching from the beginning to the end,and puts forward the application strategies of picture books in the reading process of hearing-impaired children,which are divided into five modules according to the specific research process.The introduction of this study includes the problem posing,the purpose and significance of the research,literature review,the definition of core concepts,theoretical basis and research methods.Among them,through literature review to sort out and summarize the research related to picture book teaching and hearing-impaired children's reading ability as the theoretical preparation of this study.Through the definition of the core concepts,the study was defined from the perspective of pedagogy clearly.Through the theoretical basis,it can grasp the basic characteristics of the research object.Through research methods,it can develop specific research process.The first part of this study is the theoretical analysis part of picture book teaching to improve the reading ability of hearing-impaired children.Among them,according to the requirements of Chinese curriculum standard and the characteristics of picture books in compulsory education for the deaf,the study puts forward its application value.According to the characteristics of picture book reading,it puts forward its application principle.And according to the selection of materials,teaching process and teaching evaluation of picture book teaching,it puts forward its application strategies.The above three aspects provide theoretical basis for the development of experimental research.The second part of the study is about the research of picture book instruction in improving the reading ability of hearing-impaired children,which includes the research overview,the research principle,the purpose and hypothesis of quasi-experimental research and the process of quasi-experimental research.By using the method of educational experiment,20 subjects were selected from the hearing-impaired children of grade four to grade six in Qingdao Central School for the deaf in the form of interest groups and were divided into experimental classes and control classes that each class has 10 students in accordance with the principle of voluntary combination to carry out picture book intervention and control experiment,including the question interview of Chinese teachers on picture book reading and the reading classes observation records the changes between experimental classes and control classes during the four-month experiment.The third part is the discussion of picture book instruction part.The researcher analyzes and summarizes the results of the experiment,and expounds the observation records of picture book reading made by the researcher,such as teaching design,important and difficult points of teaching,teaching reflection and reading performance and reaction of hearing-impaired children.It mainly describes the performances of reading ability of hearing-impaired children they participate in picture book teaching.On the one hand,it can support the effectiveness of picture books and on the other hand it can get the strategic basis of picture book in the process of improving reading ability of hearing-impaired children.The fourth part of this study is the conclusion and suggestion of picture book teaching to improve the reading ability of hearing-impaired children.Firstly,the selection of appropriate reading materials and the enhancement of reading experience.It is mainly based on the text and picture preferences of picture books for hearing-impaired children.Secondly,the establishment of mutual understanding and interpretation of graphics and text and strengthening the perception ability.It has four steps,which are divided into setting suspense and triggering thinking,overall perception and guiding literacy,combing plot and understanding words,creating situation and consolidating improvement.Thirdly,guide language accumulation and perception,and deepen understanding ability.On the one hand,using text and picture interpretation to connect with real life,on the other hand,using text scene to improve perception expression.Fourthly,we should make good use of picture book resources to improve our ability to maintain.The main methods are to imitate painting,look at pictures and speak,perform puzzles,arrange pictures and play roles.Fifthly,keep close to the effective details of picture books and improve the evaluation ability,including the implementation of comprehensible evaluation and enlightening and expanding evaluation.Sixthly,to strengthen the training of reading strategies and improve the ability of fast reading,we should not only teach reading order,but also train reading skills.It is hoped that it can provide reference and suggestions for Chinese teachers in frontline schools for the deaf,so that picture books can play their unique value in improving the reading interest and reading ability of deaf children.It can help hearing-impaired children to get social learning and communicating skills,so as to integrate into society.
