Picture books attract children's reading interest in the form of pictures and texts, and provide them with intuitive and vivid knowledge experience and rich and interesting emotional experience, which is a unique form of early childhood education.During my internship in the rehabilitation department of the school.I found that hearing impaired children aged 4-6 also showed an interest in reading picture books.Hearing impaired children like to browse the picture books on the shelves in their free time, and they are also willing to participate in the shared reading activities organized by teachers. At present, there is a lack of recommended book list of picture books suitable for hearing impaired children, and the recommended book list of picture books suitable for hearing impaired children may not be suitable for hearing impaired children. Therefore, special teachers have great difficulties in selecting picture books for hearing impaired children. To this end,in this study, the method of observation was adopted to start with the reading performance of children with hearing impairment in different picture book reading activities.Explore the selection criteria of picture books for children with hearing impairment, and screen out some picture books that are of interest to children with hearing impairment. In this study,a video camera was used to record the picture book shared reading activities of 10 deaf children aged 4-6 years in the rehabilitation department of a school in Tianjin.According to the reading performance coding table for deaf children, two graduate students majoring in preschool education scored the reading performance of deaf children.According to the teaching plan of the deaf school, the activity of shared reading picture books was held once a week, and 29 picture books were read in two semesters.Based on the reading performance scores of the hearing-impaired children, this study selected 12 picture books that the hearing-impaired children were interested in,providing a basis for the selection of picture books by special teachers and the recommendation of picture books for the hearing-impaired children.Based on the results of this study, the following suggestions are put forward.First,in the screening of picture books for hearing impaired children, further research can expand the screening scope of picture books, increase the scoring index of reading performance of picture books for hearing impaired children, and provide more scientific and reasonable picture book list for hearing impaired children.Second,in the organization of picture book sharing and reading activities for hearing-impaired children, teachers should update their educational concepts, set diversified teaching objectives, and adjust activity links appropriately according to the experience and needs of hearing-impaired children.Third,in the creation of picture books for hearing-impaired children, attention should be paid to the needs of this special audience group,so as to provide the hearing-impaired children with opportunities to see the world from the perspective of hearing impairment.
