A variety of miscellaneous information in today's mega data era,and that make students get information more and more extensively.So students have met a major difficulty that how to judge this information and solve problems in student's development.However,Critical Thinking can help students to analyze problems calmly,make detailed plans and decisions when they face practical problems without prejudice,impulse or blindness.That means Critical Thinking,as a kind of high-level thinking of students,plays a super important role in solving problem.At the end of last century,foreign countries realized the importance of critical thinking to solve problems and started the thinking movement of education reform.Although the studies of critical thinking is getting more and more,and the problem-solving ability of students is also a hot field of current education research.But it is not enough to search the relation between them.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to explore correlation between pupils' critical thinking tendency and manifestation of mathematical problem solved.Also,it research the feasibility and necessity of integrating critical thinking are used into primary school's mathematics teaching in the same time.The research methods of this study mainly include literature analysis,investigation and comparative research.The core concepts of critical thinking and mathematical problem solving are defined through consulting and combing the literature and on the basis of the existing research,and clarified the problems of the research and research ideas of this study.The reliability and validity of the tool used in this study include the "Pupil's Critical Thinking Tendency Questionnaire" and "The Test Paper on Mathematics Problem Solving for Primary School Students" are tested.321 students of fifth-grade are focused by the study in three schools in Chengdu,then data collected and entryed by measuring the performance of students' critical thinking tendencies and mathematical problem solving was analysised by excel2013,SPSS25.0 to point out that the current situation of students' critical thinking tendency and mathematical problem-solving ability.What's more,this study does a properquantitative analysis about the correlation and degree of students' critical thinking tendency and problem-solving.Here are the results:(1)Most of Students' critical thinking is positive,but there are still problems of unbalanced development.The students' critical thinking performance is better in the four dimensions of openness,analysis,curiosity and maturity,but in the three dimensions of authenticity,systematization and self-confidence are not as good as other four dimensions.In addition,the critical thinking tendency of girls is significantly higher than that of boys in terms of gender differences.One more thing,the critical thinking tendency of students in urban areas is better than that in town and rural areas,but there is no significant difference between in town and rural areas.(2)In students' mathematical problem-solving,students perform better in simple problem-solving,while the solution of complex problems,especially the problem of unlimited process,needs to be further strengthened.In terms of the correlation between students' critical thinking tendency and mathematical problem-solving performance: critical thinking and problem solving are positively correlated.Instead,the correlation between students' critical thinking tendency and simple math problem solving is weak or irrelevant,and the Unrestricted process problem solving performance in complex problems is significantly positively correlated with critical thinking tendency.It is related to the lowness of the sub-dimensions of truth-seeking,systematic and maturity.Through regression analysis shows that students' critical thinking has a small predictive effect on students' computational topic,practical problems and process-limited problems,but students' critical thought has a positive predictive effect on students' solving open-processing mathematical problems.Therefore,this study shows that the critical thinking tendency of primary school students can promote the ability of students' solving on open questions.therefore,we should be paid attention to the development of students' critical thinking and should cultivate students' tendency of critical thinking consciously during primary school mathematics teaching.Based on the research results,Some suggestions are put : build an open and inclusive classroom environment to promote the development of authenticity and self-confidence of students;Encourage teachers to combine the teaching of mind mapping,enhance the systematization ability of students,improve the ability of analyzing and solving problems;Pay attention to the teaching of practical open questions and promote students' thinking improving.
