Research On The Function Debugging Of Student Associations From The Perspective Of Core Literacy

The Outline of the National Program for Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development(2010-2020)explicitly mentions the need to strengthen the construction of college student associations and implement core qualities.Student associations in higher vocational colleges can enrich students' extracurricular cultural life,completely improve students' comprehensive quality,and promote the formation of a good school spirit and style of study,especially in promoting the development of student's core quality.However,at present,there are some deviations in student associations in higher vocational colleges,which are not conducive to the development of student associations in higher vocational colleges and to a certain extent hinder the overall development of college students.Under the background of the new era,it is urgent to explore the effective mechanism and feasible methods for the management and development of student associations in higher vocational colleges.First of all,we seek inspiration from the framework system of Core Qualities of Chinese Students and the published questionnaires.This questionnaire includes three parts: basic information,associations activities and the development of students' core qualities.After the small sample test,and repeated modification under the guidance of the tutor.a formal measurement scale with reasonable structure,good reliability and high reliability and stability was finally obtained,which could be used as a research tool for the issuance and collection of formal questionnaires.The final questionnaire wasdistributed to a total of 2,893 students from six vocational colleges :Sichuan Ya 'an Vocational and Technical College,Nanchong Vocational and Technical College,Leshan Vocational and Technical College,DaZhou Vocational and Technical College,Yibin Vocational and Technical College and Sichuan Vocational and Technical College of Health and Rehabilitation.It is worth mentioned that the questionnaire is uniformly distributed through the secretary of the youth league committee of the surveyed colleges,so the result is more Credible.Secondly,through these questions,such as “what qualities do you think of college society mainly to developed”,“what bad effects do you think the student association mainly brought to you " and “what problems do you think of the current university association construction".The article found several problems of different aspects,including the problems of association itself in the development and the problems of students in developing their core qualities.associations do not fully promote the development of students' core qualities.Nearly half of associations activities don't involve students healthy life,scientific spirit cultivation,and to a certain extent,these activities have ignored to cultivate the self-management and social responsibility of students;The development of the core qualities vary from different students,in which the female students,freshmen and students majoring in science and technology are left behind.There are many problem caused by associations,such as the lacking of their study,stay up late and be unhealthy.At present,there are still some problems in the construction of association in higher vocational colleges,such as the low enthusiasm of students and the mere formality of associations activities.Thirdly,the analysis of the main reasons leading to the above problems involves three levels,which can be elaborated into six aspects: first,the level of students,the main reason is that the students group have improper motivation to join the club,and their joining in the associations is an recreational behavior;The passion to participate in the club is not high,and do not attend the club activities because of laziness,especially,afraid of tired.Secondly,in institutional level,the association system is not perfect,and a few of them even have no system.The system execution is not strict enough,and there are no requirements for associations admission and attendance.Thirdly,in the management,improper management of association.There two extreme tendencies,they are “highly administrative”,“laissez-faire”;The manage ability is poor,because of the uneven quality of association instructors,and the students lack of experience.Finally,suggested countermeasures are formed in two ways,one is based in the investigation of practice,including nine aspects in three levels: students,system and management.The article suggests to correct students' motivations of joining in associations,to take an active part in association activities,and in association affairs management,to be strictly to implement the system of association,to perfect association rules,to be clear about division,to improve management,to find the high quality teachers.Second,in questionnaire,I have designed the topic “which of the following ways do you think are more effective in order to cultivate the students' core qualities ?",and made a detailed discussion according to the three most frequently selected by students,so as to find the effective Suggestions and countermeasures.
