Situational teaching method is an effective way to improve students' interest in learning and to promote students' active participation in the classroom.The situational teaching method needs to be combined with the practical application in the classroom.Through this teaching method,students' participation and interest in learning can be increased to a certain extent,and at the same time,the teaching quality can be improved.On the basis of a middle school in Yantai,the author investigates the application of situational teaching method based on the specific classroom as the carrier and summarizes the existing problems in situational teaching,who tries to explore solutions through classroom observation,questionnaire survey,teacher interview and literature review.It is found that there are some problems in the practical application of situational teaching method in the classroom,such as improper creation and application of situational teaching method,improper questioning in the classroom,and poor discipline in the classroom due to the application of active situational teaching method.The main reasons for the above problems are as follows: the teachers' pre-set situation is ideal,the application ability of situation creation is insufficient,the teachers' understanding of the significance of situation creation is not in place,the teaching material content is ignored,the situation created by the teachers is out of touch with the students' reality,the difficulty of asking questions is not controlled,the way is single,the teachers' disciplinary power is missing,and the management ability is weak.In order to make the situational teaching method play a better role in the classroom application,the author puts forward the improvement measures based on the analysis of the causes of the problems: through strengthening the learning of teachers' situational teaching knowledge,the school actively organizes teachers' training,the teachers strengthen the experience exchange and reflection,and deeply understanding the students' cognitive level to improve the teachers' use of situational teaching.Through careful design of classroom questions,comprehensive use of a variety of ways to improve the ability of teachers' classroom design questions;the state issued relevant legal documents to clarify the disciplinary power of teachers;Using variousways to form a education force to build a scientific and orderly classroom management system.In the process of writing this paper,guided by the principle of “combination of theory and practice”,when the author investigating the problems that existing in the application of situational teaching method in the classroom,the design of the questionnaire,the conclusion of the problems and the analysis of the causes are based on both the classroom listening and observation,and the reference of the literature as the theoretical guidance.Both the theory and practice are relatively objective basis.Therefore,we have obtained the measures which are more reasonable and operable.In view of the improvement measures in the application of situational teaching method,the author applies it to the classroom teaching of “discovering yourself” and guides practice with theory.The application of teaching methods is based on the teaching practice of “practice-cognition-practice again-recognition”,which constantly draws lessons and summarizes experience.
