"Data analysis concept" is one of the ten core concepts of mathematics curriculum standards for compulsory education,and is an important part of the core literacy of middle school students.The development level of core literacy is the evaluation content of the international student assessment project PISA.PISA evaluates students' mathematics literacy,mainly through students' "problem solving" process,methods and methods,to examine students' knowledge and skills,mathematical thinking and concepts and values.Since the 1980 s,problem solving has gradually become a research hotspot in international mathematics education.During this period,China's mathematics education gradually became in line with international standards.In the 2011 edition of compulsory education curriculum standards,the mathematics curriculum objectives are established as: knowledge and skills,mathematical thinking,problem solving,emotional attitude.Among them,mathematical thinking and problem solving are interpreted as "emphasis on math teaching methods and processes".This research is based on the "data analysis concept evaluation framework" proposed by domestic scholars,combined with the evaluation mechanism of problem solving in the international evaluation project PISA,to evaluate and investigate junior high school students' data analysis concept.The eighth and ninth grade students of a middle school in Fushan District,Yantai City were selected as the evaluation objects,using questionnaire tests,classroom observations and teacher interviews.Through investigation and analysis,it was found that: first,junior high school students have a certain sense of data.When solving simple statistics and probability problems,students can transform the actual situation into a mathematical problem situation and use the knowledge they have learned to solve the problem;second,Students have a relatively simple choice of data analysis methods.It is difficult to broaden their thinking and find different solutions when solving poor structural problems.Furthermore,students do not know the randomness of real phenomena,and they have no way to solve the probability and statistical problems in life.Analyze and reflect on the survey results and get some inspiration.First,in the teaching of statistics and probability in junior high schools,students should be encouraged to go through the entire process of problem solving and data processing,and gradually penetrate the concept of data analysis;Third,strive to enrich the teaching organization and make full use of information technology.
