Throughout the stage of high school, students will learn more math concepts. And the concepts also will be the basis of math learning in the stage of high school. So no matter teachers or students should pay more attention to the learning of math concepts. The concepts like a big ball what is so smooth. Students who want to catch the big ball he must need a place to start. If the ball has one point to hold it on the surface, then we use some tools, we can deal with it. The problem-solving teaching model is that tool.The first thing we will do is defining the concepts about problem-solving teaching model and math concept. We find the difference and connection between problem-solving teaching model and another two teaching model. Also we summarize the development of problem-solving teaching model. There always have two questionnaires for teachers and students. We want to know the attitude of teachers and student when they face the math concepts. The difficulties students learning the concepts and teachers teaching includes. Through out the questionnaires, we find some problems. For example, the teachers’ attention to the concept teaching stays on the surface. The second is teachers give little time to students to operate. And teachers do not tell the students the correct way to learn the math concepts. It leads the student to having different degree in concepts learning. Last but not least, when teaching concepts, teachers are not to design a problem situation to help the students understanding the concept but giving the concepts directly to the students. To some degree, it is terrible. It do not care the students’zone of proximal development.Combined with the problem finding through out the questionnaires and the principles of concepts teaching, we give the principles when using problem-solving teaching model in concepts teaching. Also we give the strategies and suggestions to the concepts teaching under the problem-solving teaching model. |
