"Compulsory Education Biology Curriculum Standard(2011 Edition)" encourages teachers and students to make full use of readily available and inexpensive appliances and materials to design creative scientific experiments and scientific practice activities.The research attempts to carry out practical activities in the Junior high school biology curriculum by adopting methods of literature research,survey research,and experimental research.On the basis of consulting a large number of documents to define the relevant concepts of biological practice activities and comb the theoretical basis,and conduct questionnaire surveys and interview surveys with biology teachers in many junior middle schools in Y City to understand the current status of biological practice activities.The survey results show that most schools in Y City support the right amount of biological practice activities,and most teachers recognize the educational value of biological practice activities,they pay attention to students' dominance in practical activities.The vast majority of students have a strong interest in biological practice activities.Relatively speaking,the development of biological practice also faces many problems.For example,the time and space of practical activities are compressed,the equipment and resources of practical activities are insufficient,the time and energy of the implementers are limited,and there is no reasonable evaluation system.Then,guided by the relevant theories of life-oriented teaching,based on the investigation and analysis of the current situation and combined with the characteristics of biological practice activities,the research determines the implementation strategies of biological practice activities from the aspects of activity value,activity goal,activity content,activity design,activity process,activity resources,activity form,activity evaluation,etc.They are,the value orientation of biological practice activities extends to life,the goal of activities is closer to core literacy,the specific content of activities is reasonably matched,each link in activities is cleverly connected,artistic grasp "Guidance and learning" in activities,appropriate use of activity forms,excavation and integration of living activity resources,multiple evaluations throughout the entire process of activities.Next,taking the implementation strategies of biological practice activities as the starting point to design the biology practice activity curriculum.An experimental study on the practical activities of the theme unit of "Biology and Biosphere" was conducted in a junior high school,the results show that the development of biology practice activities has positive impacts on biology classroom teaching,which not only improves the students' innovative spirit and practical ability,but also drives the enthusiasm of teachers to carry out biology practice activities,and it has been approved by parents,all these have verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the strategies.However,the development of biological practice activities also exposed some problems,for example: the enthusiasm of student participation has not been fully mobilized,the design of practical activities involves too much energy for teachers,the contradiction between presupposition problems and generation problems is outstanding and failure to give full play to the value of social life resources in practical activities.Immediately afterwards,conduct in-depth reflections,propose corresponding problem-solving countermeasures,and provide ideas and methods for further reconstruction and improvement of the course examples.The specific countermeasures are as follows.This includes doing solid training and mobilization work;establishing a library of biological practice courses;establishing a community of practical activities for exchange and mutual assistance;discovering biological practice activities in social life.
