In the 21 st century,the government of Mongolia attached great importance to preschool education as the basis of educational development.China is a neighboring country of Mongolia,the two countries maintain close communication and exchanges in the fields of politics,economy and education.The paper made a comparative study of preschool education between China and Mongolia,and further explored the common points and differences in preschool education between the two countries,the research content included the following aspects:First,the paper made a comparative study on the background and investment of preschool education between China and Mongolia.The research showed that there were great differences between China and Mongolia in absolute population and annual growth rate of population.The differences in population background of preschool education between the two countries directly affected the development of preschool education.In terms of the formulation of preschool education policies,China and Mongolia had made great adjustments and reforms in recent years,and the policy environment for preschool education was good.In terms of investment in preschool education,the absolute value of investment in the two countries had increased significantly,but in terms of investment proportion,Mongolia was in an obvious leading position.In terms of annual growth rate of investment,China's growth rate in recent years had accelerated significantly,which reflected the strong attention given by both countries to preschool education.Second,the paper mades a comparative study on the process and output of preschool education between China and Mongolia.Mongolian pre-school institutions were mainly state-owned,while social institutions accounted for a considerable proportion of Chinese pre-school institutions.In terms of preschool education teachers,Mongolia was in the leading position in the proportion of teachers and children and the level of teacher training.However,China's development in recent years was very fast,and the gap between the two countries was becoming smaller and smaller.In terms of preschool education enrollment rate,the enrollment rate of preschool children in China and Mongolia had basically maintained a growth trend.Compared with China,Mongolia had an advantage in this indicator,but recently this advantage was shrinking.Third,in terms of the development of preschool education,the scale of preschool education institutions in both China and Mongolia was expanding,the types of preschool education institutions were diversified,the preschool education system was more mature,forming a preschool education system structure combining formal and informal,and the teachers' strength and education quality of preschool education were significantly improved.For Mongolia,there were still several problems in the current preschool education,including the enrollment rate of school-age children needed to be further improved,the development of different types of preschool institutions was not balanced,the preschool education legislation needed to continue to be improved and perfected,and the development of preschool education in remote areas was slow.In order to better promote the further development of Mongolian preschool education,the paper thought that we should focus on the following aspects: the government should lay the foundation for the development of preschool education,rely on various forces to develop preschool education,better improve the funding system of preschool educat ion and strengthen the construction of preschool education teachers.The paper carried out a comparative study between China and Mongolia in the field of preschool education,which can provide reference and suggestions for Mongolia to absorb,draw on and introduce the experience of China's preschool education development through first-hand materials,and for the scientific planning and rapid development of Mongolian preschool education.
