Geography is a basic subject that spans the natural sciences and social sciences.The definition and unification of geographical terminology,especially Mongolian geographical terminology,is of great significance.This paper has determined the research significance and research content of this thesis by understanding the application status of geographical terminology at home and abroad.In order to compare the geographical terms in the seventh-grade geography textbooks of Mongolian and Chinese junior high school in the Mongolian and Chinese literatures,the book "The Nine-Year Compulsory Education Seventh Grade Geography"(2012)and the Mongolian-published "????? ???1" edited by the People's Education Publishing House.The content selection of(2014)is compared.On the basis of this,the geographical nouns are collected from the materials and analyzed by the comparative method.According to the comparison of Han-Mon-Cyrillic,the texts of Mongolian and Chinese geography are analyzed.The commonalities and differences of geographical terms,and the reasons for the differences in geographical terms of Mongolian geography textbooks and the countermeasures for the use of geographical terms in two sets of textbooks.The introductory part and the first part of the thesis discuss the research background and the significance of the research,expound the definition,characteristics and research results of geographical nouns,and try to form a comprehensive theoretical analysis,which lays a solid theoretical foundation for further study of geographical nouns,and further In-depth analysis is carried out in combination with the specific use and presentation characteristics of geographic nouns in the textbooks,in an attempt to form a systematic study of geographical nouns.The second part of the thesis only systematically analyzes the geographical terms appearing in the textbooks,and refers to the claims of “classification should be scientific” and “category must be consistent”,and the measurement of the proper nouns in the two sets of textbooks is made.,then list the proper nouns of the two sets of textbooks and the classification comparison table.Summarize the quantitative statistics of the geographical nouns of the two sets of textbooks.The third part of the thesis compares the statistics of the geographical terms of "Earth,Map" of the 7th grade geography textbooks of Mongolian and Mongolian in China and Mongolia,and the similarities and differences in the use of geographical terms,the comparison of geographical terms of natural geography,and human geography.Comparison of geographical nouns,comparison of place names,and interpretation of geographical terms.The fourth part of the thesis,based on the conclusion of certain contrasts,analyzes the reasons for the difference between the geographical terms in the two sets of textbooks,and proposes the countermeasures for the use of geographical terms in two sets of geography textbooks.Finally,it summarizes the work done in the paper and proposes follow-up work.All the researches in this paper are based on the empirical study of geographical terms in the textbooks.Each specific study is based on concrete examples in the textbooks,trying to make the research results more rational and practical.
