The history is glorious and a large number of famous historical figures have emerged in the long course of historical development.The occurrence of historical events cannot be separated from the activities of historical figures.A series of historical figures with various expressions and characteristics have also become a part of history textbooks that focus on description.History textbooks can enable students to understand different aspects of historical figures and the important role that historical figures play in the development of history by narrating historical figures,thus promoting students to understand the context of historical development further.In addition,historical figures in history textbooks are also important carriers for teachers to teach historical figures,so the compilation of historical figures in history textbooks is especially important.In the past,the relevant research on historical figures only focused on the analysis of one version,while the comparison between different versions was less.Therefore,in view of the deficiency of previous studies,this paper compared the compilation of historical figures in the history textbooks for the second volume of the seventh grade published in 2001 and 2016,and analyzed the differences in the compilation of historical figures between the two versions of history textbooks systematically.Historical figures are distributed in each section of history textbooks.Different sections of historical figures have different functions.Through the different presentation of historical figures in different sections,students can be effectively helped to understand historical figures from various angles.Therefore,the paper divided the distribution range of historical figures in history textbooks into six major sections,namely,the text,the premise of the lesson,the assistance in the lesson,the practice in the lesson,the practice after the lesson,and the expansion after the lesson,and analyzes the differences and characteristics of the compilation of historical figures in the same section of the new and old PEP editions respectively.Secondly,the paper divided historical figures into three types: politics,economy,science,technology and culture.For these three types of historical figures,the paper mainly took representative figures as examples,and analyzed the differences in the compilation of the same historical figures and the compilation characteristics of the new historical figures in the history textbooks of the new People's Education Edition,so as to discuss the changes in the compilation of historical figures between the old and the new People's Education Edition,and summarize the new trends in the compilation of historical figures in the history textbooks of the new People's Education Edition.Finally,the paper summarized the characteristics ofthe new and old PEP editions in compiling historical figures,and put forward corresponding thinking.The full text took the historical figures involved in the new and old PEP history textbooks as the object,and analyzed them from the perspectives of distribution of historical figures,compilation changes of historical figures,compilation characteristics of different editions,etc.,so as to provide reference for compilation of historical figures in history textbooks.
