At present,competition in the development of science and technology in various countries in the world is becoming increasingly fierce.Training innovative talents for the new era has become a new requirement for science and education in various countries.However,the cultivation of scientific and technological talents can not be done in one day.How to cultivate innovative talents that meet the needs of the development of the times and have the ability of independent exploration is an important exploration direction of the current education reform in China.The primary school science curriculum standard points out that the primary school science is an enlightenment course aiming at cultivating scientific literacy,and its main characteristics are practicality and inquiry.Inquiry is not only the goal of scientific learning but also the way of scientific learning advocacy.Inquiry teaching is a kind of teaching method that aims at the students' subjectivity to design inquiry process,to make students actively participate in inquiry,to help students master scientific knowledge,and to cultivate students' ability of independent inquiry learning.At present,inquiry teaching has been applied in many subjects with good practical results.Based on the existing research,this paper sorts out and analyzes the current research results of inquiry teaching and learning at home and abroad,and defines the concepts of "primary school science curriculum","inquiry teaching","primary school science inquiry teaching mode","independent inquiry learning ability" and "Senior grade of primary school".Based on the existing research,the author tries to combine the physical and mental development and cognitive characteristics of primary school students with the subject characteristics of primary school science.Based on the current research status of inquiry-based teaching and the actual teaching situation of science courses learned from the investigation,I try to explore the teaching method that is applied in the teaching of science curriculum in primary schools.In the teaching of elementary science courses.In this article,document method,investigation method,experimental research method,classroom observation method are used to explain the current status,problems,and practice and reflection of the teaching method in the inquiry teaching method.It proposes optimization strategies in the application of classroom science teaching in elementary school,and provides solutions forcultivating students' ability of scientific and independent inquiry learning,improving students' interest in learning,class participation and other issues.This study conducts a study and analysis of science curriculum standards and selects some elementary school science teachers to conduct interviews on the status of science curriculum development and application of inquiry teaching in order to understand the requirements of current curriculum standards for inquiry teaching,as well as current science curriculum development and inquiry teaching Application status and existing problems,and put forward corresponding solutions to the problems.Finally,the exploratory teaching model and its application strategies are put into scientific classroom teaching for empirical research.This study selects two classes in the fifth grade of a school to conduct a pre-experimental questionnaire survey on the status of scientific learning,and has a preliminary understanding of the status of scientific learning of students.One group was selected as the experimental group,and the other group was used as the control group for the inquiry teaching control experiment.The science class in the control group uses conventional teaching,and the science class in the experimental group uses inquiry-based teaching,and other variables remain the same.Through a two-month teaching experiment,a comparative analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey before and after the two class experiments,the following conclusions are drawn:the use of inquiry teaching in science courses can reflect the subjectivity of students emphasized in the curriculum standards,making students to participate well in the classroom;using inquiry teaching in classroom teaching allows students to exercise their self-learning ability and inquiry ability during the learning process;from the results of controlled experiments: the experimental group of students using the inquiry teaching mode in Science course,students' learning interest has improved to a certain degree,and class participation has significantly improved,and students' autonomous inquiry learning ability has improved significantly.Teaching experiments show that inquiry teaching can help students learn and master scientific knowledge better,and improve students' interest in scientific learning,class participation and independent inquiry learning ability.
