Iquiry teaching has got the concern of the education circle, as a gleam of the new curriculum reform, but in practice, it still has many wrong acknowledge. On the base of combing the historic thread of inquiry teaching and inspecting its practice, the essay inquiry again and reflect some current problems existing hi inquiry teaching practice in china. The paper is divided into five parts:Part 1 analyzing the phenomena of "losing soul" in inquiry teaching, and the reasons what happened, and restating the "soul " of inquiry teaching, which lies on the true, great-thinking, open, hinting problems. We must pay attention to stimulate and form the students' consciousness.Part 2 from the aspect of inquiry teaching theory history development, it put forward that inquiry teaching adapt all subjects, but different subjects has its own speciality. From the four aspects of contents, ways, skills exercising patterns and conclusion, stressfully compares the subject of Chinese with the subject of science in inquiry teaching.Part 3 the essay inspect inquiry teaching suitable contents and learners, think that inquiry teaching not only suits conception forming, but also different aging students with different contents and fashions.Part 4 in the procedure of inquiry teaching, it analyzes its shortcomings of "others-controlling" inquiry teaching, advances the essence of inquiry teaching is students' self-constructing under the teachers' leading.Part 5 the location of inquiry teaching in the system of course appraisal, the essay elaborate the speciality of thought, measurement subject and fashion existing in inquiry teaching.
