According to the requirements specified in High-school Math Curriculum Standards[2017]: teachers should take on teaching on the basis of cultivating students' core traits. In the perspective of core traits high-school mathematics problem-solving teaching refers to:observing, knowing and understanding high-school mathematics problem-solving teaching from the development of students' mathematical abstraction, logical reasoning, mathematical modeling, intuitive imagination, mathematical operation and data analysis traits. In this regard, how do we better train the students in the solving of math problems? To improve the quality of work during math problem-solving teaching in high schools,it's necessary to review the existing insufficiency and related factors that could affect this process. The paper deals with the analysis and discussion about math problem-solving teaching at high-school levels through the angle of students' core traits cultivation with the help of questionnaires and interviews designed for math teachers and as well as for students, aiming to reveal the problems behind the current situation when teaching math problem-solving skills:1.The research of mathematics practice is not enough, using problems from textbook or supplementary materials to teach students directly.2.The teaching mode of mathematics practice's explanation process is single and tedious, and students can't raise their desire to solve the problems; The quantity of mathematics practice is too much; The teaching progress is too fast; The process of formingproblem-solving thinking is lack;Students have less time to think and explore, and the participation of students in class is not high.3.Mathematics practice evaluation is easy to be ignored;Teachers do not reasonably guide the students to carry on the self-evaluation and the mutual evaluation to the problem-solving process to promote the students' independent thinking and the expansion of the problem-solving thinking. In order to solve above problems, the author puts forward the optimization strategy of high-school mathematics problem-solving teaching:1.The stage of researching mathematics practice:The choice and design of exercises reflect the core traits of mathematics; The solutions of exercises(solving one problem in many ways;many prolems useing one way)reflect the core traits of mathematics.2.The stage of explaining mathematics practice:Creating appropriate mathematical situation to stimulate students' interest in solving problems;Valuing the cultivation of students' exercises examination ability and strengthening the guidance of using questions;Inspiring and guiding students to think and explore independently;Encouraging cooperations and communications as teachers-students,students-students.3.The stage of evaluating mathematics practice:the review of problem-solving process need to be Optimization making sure that students understand mathematical thinking and accumulate problem-solving experiences. The evaluation of problem-solving process need to be Optimization(both teachers-students and students-students)promoting students to think independently and making sure that students form and develop mathematic core traits when they analyze and solve problems.Combined with the above teaching strategies, the author conducted a teaching practice class. It is concluded that the above teaching improvement strategies have application and practicality value to some extent.
